Ok, well fuckin w u and playful banter is different. If it's just to get a rise out of someone, its obnoxious.

Who knows. Some females love the drama.

IMO, it's bad enough when a man "thinks" you are "testing him", when you aren't even.

Dude, you said "..she came at me sideways once. i snapped on her ass. it was a 10 sec speech. she apologized...a month later before we watched a movie rental....she told me she was testing me to see how far she can go."

I must have missed the "LOL" part in your exchange. :???:

    True that.

Guess I don't want to grow with someone just alongside them. The world throws too much bs at me for me to volunteer dealing with that shit in my home.
Personally I think a lot of women are bored and look for shit to excite them ie drama

I did, I'm a woman I don't agree I guess. Of course you want to follow normal social cues about not being creepy but that goes without saying.

On the "in check" stuff, sure share feelings but you put a child in check not your partner. I'm not saying don't call bullshit but it's all in the approach. In check suggests control which I don't like.

    compliments:
i see what you are say but dudes need to be careful with compliments....dont be excessive on the first date.

    on in check.....
i get what you are saying....but in this context we are talking about people (men specifically) setting up boundaries.

Very true. There are times when I react more emotionally than logically...in those times I have no issue with my partner bringing me back to reality (ie putting me in check). If it's about control with him, I wouldn't be with him to begin with. No one controls me...but I do appreciate a man who will call me on my bullshit when necessary. Like I said, I'm human. I overreact sometimes. And when I do, I respect a man who has the balls to call me on it. And he can rest assured that I'll speak my mind if he steps out of line. Open, honest, respectful communication and compromise. I can't do a relationship any other way.

Unfortunately on more than one occasion in this forum you call a female on her bullshit and you are a jerk or an asshole. It is the same way in real life with some females as well. Sometimes you need to be blunt to get the message across and not sugarcoat words.
