Not that I would ever, ever date this guy, but I can still appreciate his chiseled features, beautiful eyes, and luscious lips. But, seriously, this guy would be rolling in the dough as a model had he chosen a better life for himself. What a fool. SMH. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/chi-mans-handsome-mug-shot-goes-viral-20140619,0,7217110.story
Some of the guys at the forum were discussing this guy on another thread. He'll become a minor star, should he ever be released from prison.
I can totally see that happening. Though he's likely a really hardened criminal, so it won't last too long. Right?!? And just think about this for a second: that picture is a MUGSHOT. Done by a cop with an inferior camera and non-photoshopped. If he looks like that in a mugshot, imagine all of the ads he could have been in with those looks. He would have had the world at his feet, travelling all over the world, being in movies probably, sleeping with hundreds of women. Instead he's a convicted felon. What a waste of those looks. :smt009
Damn. And that was the one section I didn't peruse before posting. I never think about that section for this kind of thing. D'oh! Maybe Webbie can merge the two.
Remember Antoine, the "Bedroom Intruder" guy? He had a track on iTunes, a reality show in the works and then blew it all when he got arrested. Something similar could happen to this guy...if he ever gets out, that is.
I read that yesterday! Too funny. There's even a Facebook page dedicated to his look: https://www.facebook.com/JeremyMeeksDreamyMcMugShot His Mom is also trying to raise money for his defense fund because she claims he turned his life around and he's innocent and those are old tattoos. Anything is possible, I guess.
Phew, did you see the pic of him and his brother? Their parents have strong gene's in the looks department.
Do you remember the film Weeds, with Nick Nolte, Ernie Hudson, Lane Smith, John Toles-Bey, Mark Ralston, Joe Mantegna and others? It had a scene where a theater critic, after seeing a play that Nolte's character had written and performed inspired her to launch a campaign to get Nolte out of prison and into the theater because the play was an important one. The movie was based on a true story. That is probably going to happen for this guy.
It's funny how we all care about pretty people even when they're fucking felons. I wonder if that's nature or nurture.
It's just weird to me that we care at all. When it's criminals that aren't as good looking we don't give them a second look, hell if it's unattractive homeless people we could care less. So yet again it boils down to the superficial.
His internet "stardom" is nothing BUT superficial. I'm not understanding why you're bringing it up as I'm not denying it, at all. No one knows the guy from Adam. He just took a picture where he looks hot, and some women decided to make him an internet sensation.
I wasn't directing it at you just speaking in general. I think i hit the wall, the fairytale is over. It's not about what's on the inside that counts, it's what's on the surface and it's always been and will always be that way. Just sad to realize.
It's nature. Look at some women who have committed some pretty horrific crimes like Andrea Yates. She was attractive. She was young. She was a Christian. Well, this attractive, young Christian woman drowned her children in the bathtub in her home. As vile as this was, Yates was really messed up before drowning her children. I chalk it up to the fact that she was a stay at home wife and mother with post-partum depression issues under the control of an extremely domineering husband and father who expected and demanded the world of her. Casey Anthony. A party girl turned "alleged" murderer. Out of jail and still hated for not being a mother. I guess she is still wondering where the next party is going to be. The looks hook everyone in. Looks are a deciding factor. Defense attorneys do their best to make sure that their client looks real good to the jury and the world because once everyone knows "the whole story", the wind will turn in their favor. And it works...sometimes. If not, regardless, their defendant's face will be plastered all over in print and video.
