Evidently cheap prison tattoos and an extensive criminal history are turn ons for some women, but not for me...those things and his convict look cancel out any attractiveness IMO. As I recall from my time as a correctional officer, the teardrop tattoo typically means an inmate was somebody's prison bitch, and with his looks there's no doubt plenty of other inmates found him pretty enough to target him. I know common belief is that the teardrop tatt means they killed someone or the death of a loved one, but rarely is that the case. Sadly, there are a lot of stupid women who fall for dudes like this, but contrary to what some people think, most women aren't that stupid. Don't let a bunch of online idiots fawning over him make you think they represent most women.
Yeah, I was a CO in my early twenties for a couple of years. I moved away for a while, which is why I quit. When I ended up back here I thought about going back to it, but at the time I had no interest in going back to the stress and the bullshit there. As I've mentioned on here before, I had to endure a lot of harassment from my good ol' boy redneck supervisors and coworkers for being a female officer at a men's prison and for my personal life. It's funny, they put all that effort into treating me like shit and trying to run me off only to ask me to come back when I moved back to town. The pay and benefits were pretty good, but not as good as if it'd been state run rather than privately owned. I actually liked being a CO in many respects, and it's something I was good at. I've considered doing it again, but it's not an option right now.
I was a CO. I was a good officer but not good enough for the prison I worked in. I was just out of the academy. I did put what I had learned into my job(s) as a security officer(my bosses loved my incident reports). I could not go back to that again. As to this guy, I had read somewhere that he is already married. There are a lot of people who would not mind engaging in a pen pal relationship with a prison inmate. There are dating sites and even a section in the single's ad magazines. For some women, these inmates don't care about age or weight of the woman. The inmates simply want to know someone on the outside to write to and, hopefully, meet in person. I cannot say that the inmates who participate in this have less than honorable intentions, or that the women want to rescue these men in some way, but I do not deny that everybody needs somebody to love.
the women falling for this guy is no different than dudes want to GF/wife up a porn actress or a stripper.
100% TRUTH!~!!lol I think for these women it's more a lust fantasy and giving this dude his props for his looks. IRL if they met him at a bar and he told them his background, most females I know would put down their drink and proceed quickly to the nearest exit.
I think you should share your mug shot...there will be a line if women wanting to save your pretty arse
Never knew you were a CO Tam, must have seen it all with dudes like that who dwell in a criminal lifestyle. When you mention some foolish women who fall for idiots like his, i remember the story of a black female Orange County deputy that had sex with a white supremacist in the jail. Lost her job, benefits and everything over a loser.
If he gets jail time you can donate on his underwear, although I know you would like to see him without them...and he can use some toothpaste to keep those beautiful teeth white.
I kind of agree with the comments about categorizing someone as a criminal permanently because of a single (or in his case, several, acts).
Yeah, prison is a whole different world. Most of the time dealing with the inmates was easy though; it was dealing the people you work with and for that was the the most stressful aspect of the job. Too many power-trippin' good ol' boys who think they're somebody because they get to wear a polyester uniform and a badge who were always showing their asses. Believe it or not, many of the inmates will respect COs depending on how they carry themselves. I didn't put up with any shit, but I was fair; I seldom had any problems with them. The biggest inmate issue female COs deal with is the chicken-chokers, but there are some highly effective ways of dealing with them. lol I worked with several stupid women who threw everything away (job, husband, kids, reputation, etc.) for convicts, and the majority of them ended up regretting it. The disrespectful attitude the female officers get from supervisors and coworkers is like they expect every woman to get involved with an inmate at some point. They treat you like you're there to find a man and not to earn a living, but like I told one of my lieutenants, they were just afraid we'd fuck an inmate before we'd fuck one of them and that they found it especially if it was with a black inmate. I had to deal with a lot of racial shit based on my personal life...I'm not one to bring my personal business into the workplace, but living in a small town I ran into one of my bosses at the grocery store while I was shopping with my two year old son not long after I started working at the prison. His reaction to my son being mixed was not a positive one. The next day at work everybody knew my business, and things got crazy because of it pretty often.
Is your post directed at someone in particular or are you just talking to yourself? Yep. Sometimes a person just makes mistake in life that bites them in the ass in a major way. In most cases (dependent on the crime) as long as they are truly sorry and have learned their lesson and changed their ways, it shouldn't be something held against them after they've done their time. I don't have much pity for the repeat offenders, because at that point their crimes can't be classified as mistakes. They should've learned their lesson the first time around.
