the a/c went out and LJ went out with cramps. the media is saying the following 1. if the a/c didnt go out LJ would have been in and heat would have won. 2. the game should have been post poned. do you guys think if a sub or a role player like ray would have cramped and not LJ would there be this talk ? do you think the bash on LJ's toughness justified? for disclosure im going for the spurs
Shit happens. Ultimately, you have to play through it. The a/c was no excuse for losing the game, period. Yes, it impacted everyone in that arena. Spurs were fortunate to capitalize on James' discomfort. San Antonio got the job done and won Game 1. Its going to be a tough series and the Spurs have to work on those turnovers throughout these Finals. I think the Spurs will win in 6 or 7 games.
Spurs were fortunate to win game 1, it was a close game when LJ went out, and he was guarding Green who hit two big 3's soon after LJ had to sit down. Game 2 is a must win for the Heat to steal home court advantage, if the Spurs win Game 2, series is over.
football is played in the snow...baseball in the rain...I seriously doubt that the AC being out was an advantage for the spurs...they were sweating just like the heat...both teams come from very hot climates...a cramp is just like an injury...doesn't matter who it happened to it just puts you out of the game...cramp or no cramp i think that the spurs are going to take this one...having said that, i was certain that my broncos would win the superbowl:smt042
