Not really in his/this case, because he has more than enough money to buy his heart's desire until he dies. What he wants, is his team. He raised it from its infancy, right up to the latest playoffs, and is the longest tenured NBA owner in its history. He's essentially losing his "child" (he already lost a son last year to a drug overdose). So the one billion he'll make here... means little to him, imo.

The visor-wearing woman alleged to have secretly recorded NBA owner Donald Sterling’s racist rants was beaten up by a pair of hate-spewing brutes near a Manhattan hot spot on Sunday night, her lawyer told the Daily News.

V. Stiviano was socked by two white men who then yelled at her using the N-word and other racist language after she left a restaurant near the Gansevoort Hotel in the Meatpacking District at 7 p.m., attorney Mac Nehoray said.

“The two men who attacked her punched her on the right side of her face several times,” said Nehoray.

A bouncer at the hotel said Stiviano got caught in the middle of a brawl in front of the hotel.

It’s unclear what role she had in the fight, but “fists were thrown,” according to the security guard.

Stiviano saw a doctor, but she did not file a police report, said RadarOnline, which first reported the story.

The alleged incident comes just days after a video of Stiviano came to light in which she said "black people don't know what to do” with money.

Keep in mind, Ballmer had stipulated an out-clause that if Shelly and Donald became embroiled in a legal tie-up mess, he can bounce from the deal.
