Small town (Village), everyone knows the in outs of a ducks arse about everyone and yes I've come to hate it.
I want to live in the Shetland islands or somewhere there is no other bugger about.

VA is not my state at all, I just live here for now, did not grow up here, it does not contain an ounce of my family, culture or anything remotely related. Funny thing is that it would not matter if it actually had some form of intrinsic value or anything remotely interesting of its own. It would be easy to provide a long list of why the place sucks but the main reason is because everyone hates it and quite understandably. Please make plans to leave any place that you hate because it can't possibly be worth staying in the long run. Also be happy, it can't possibly suck more than VA. :p

Gotta be the odd man out in this thread,I love my city!
    The nightlife,women,beaches,restaurants and weather.
All I can say is if you don't like your city, and you don't have responsibilities holding you back, then up root your life.

Agreed! This city truly has it all. The weather, beaches and over all diversity are enough for me to continue calling SD home. Can't imagine raising my kidlets anywhere else

I'm sure it's hard to up and move because most people have something tying them to their current city :( I'm incredibly grateful that I'm tied only to SoCal!

I lurv my city. In fact, i find a lot of the "sunny" places to have no personality. I find LA to be the lamest town of all.

Lol ouch! I'm originally from LA, most of my family is actually still up there. As with most huge cities, there are both fabulous and lame areas. The whole city can't be lame though! Maybe you just didn't see the cool spots lol

I have to leave the states of Florida. I had been in this state longer than I want to be. As I have once posted before, some places are nice, while others are dull. The weather is the main reason people from all over the world come to Florida. In my heart of hearts, I had always felt I belonged back in my home state of New Jersey. After living here for so long, I am not sure. But, I am hopeful. I don't hate Florida. I just hated that I had to move down here under protest and duress when I was little boy. I had to make the most of it while I am here.

There are no black men in the city I'm in. Why after 7 years here I've resorted to chatting with anonymous icons on the internet.

I have some "hollywood" friends, and I have "seen" the scene. It's like eating a veggie burger.

I relocated to Knoxville after Katrina. You wouldn't think it, but it's a huge cultural difference coming from new orleans. You like FL?

As I had stated earlier, I don't hate FL. I simply do not belong here. FL has both the real and the unreal. It all depends on what one is looking for. I hadn't found much. So, I simply make the most of things until a change a scenery comes along. Or, I find it, of course.
