I know....I always think about him when I hear stories like this one with the three year old....or the one I heard recently where a man raped a newborn and got 15 years.

The war on drugs is destroying us.

Beasty, is this an example of 'controlled crack use'? Lmao

That's screwed up. A non-violent crime whose victim is primarily the user him/herself should not have jail time attached, or at a minimum not such a stiff sentence.

ha ha! If he had it under control he would have not been caught. Users only get busted when they lose control.

I wonder if he said anything as colorful as "Bitch set me up." when he was arrested.

That would have been denial of his problem. Would still be interesting to know. What I think a lot of people don't realize is that he could have easily started out just getting high on occasion on the golf course with some friends that also hold some kind of office, probably using power cocaine. Then one day when his friends were probably not around he could have started getting any fix he could, using crack when he could not find the powder, then getting it from anyone instead of his usual circle. I don't know his story but I am sure if you dig deep enough you will start to see the point where he began to get sloppy and lose control. When you are a politician and get caught on tape smoking dope its like wtf??

Yeah, there was definitely some precipitating event that was the beginning of him dabbling with cocaine, then the sloppiness, then hitting the pipe. Sad.
