Magnitude-5.3 quake shakes Los Angeles area

LOL, just another day in LA, earthquake and all.

 

Nope, I haven't seen any discernable damage. All is well in the City of Angels.

 

lol, We're used to this kind of stuff.

 

I remember walking to work. By car it was a 10-15 minute drive. But walking in the pre-dawn hours to work took me 2 1/2 hours to get to work. Miami-Dade Police was at every street corner and intersection(to prevent looting). The Mayor of Miami Dade imposed a curfew. Our building was out of power for three days before the power returned. It was a crazy time.

 

As it should be. Glad you're okay. I just heard there was one off the coast of Chile as well, but in the far north, near a less populated area.
