Is it really suicide? Part of me thinks its a hit or is it really far fetched to believe they're just depressed?

 

Kobe, and cats who think like him, are woefully simplistic in their thinking. Most of us are not coming the Martin's defense solely because he is black. We are coming to his defense because he was senselessly killed, by someone who by most accounts doesn't like black people, because he was black and doing nothing wrong. There's a huge difference. How does any black person not understand that unless they are willfully ignorant of the black male experience?

A few more quick points:

1. Black on black crime has absolutely nothing to do with the Martin shooting. That's a red herring. Think of it like this: because you beat your wife, I should not be penalized for beating your wife for doing nothing wrong to me or anyone else? Does that make any sense to anyone? Of course not. But, that's the logic(or lack of) people use when they bring up black on black crime in response to the Martin case.

2. Blacks who kill other blacks (and any other race) usually end up in jail. Martin's killer? Not so much. And, that happens more than you might think.

3. Think black on black crime is an issue with our youth? Great! Now, what are you willing to do besides sit on the sidelines and lob bricks? Are you involved in the community? Are you mentoring at risk youth? Volunteering to help after school programs? One can find programs needing volunteers in any crime ridden community. And if not, start one. Get active and get involved if black on black crime outrages you so much that it becomes your response to anyone critical of a justice system that gives others the right to kill your own kind for no good reason.

What are the brick throwers willing to do besides throw bricks?
