TX Dad shoots dead boy, 17, he found in bed with daughter, after she lies knowing him

Being its Texas I'm pretty sure that when someone is in your property, unbeknownst to you at 2 in the morning all bets are off.

Problem is she invited the boyfriend in, but then tells her dad a different story at first that she didn't know who dude was from all reports. Its only after shots blazed that she came to her senses. SMH.

Besides sounds like the dad was already not all there, being medicated and then stretchered away after. Kid lost his life over some stupid shit. This ain't no game.

 

I remember when the show COPS was on. The show was in Las Vegas. The LVMPD sent officers to a house because a neighbor saw a man break in it. When the officer's arrived and the homeowner, who happened to be armed, discovered that the intruder was the boyfriend of the daughter who was also living with him. No shots were fired. No lives lost. No arrests were made. But warnings were given. I think this scene was in the uncencored versions on DVD.

 

I wonder if he would have shot that kid if he were white??

 

Cliche yet probably true in that NO the Dad I don't think would have blasted away at a White male teenager in his daughter's room and would have put 2 and 2 together and kicked the kid out of his house.

 

Really? 2 and 2? See, I think his visceral would be (white) "rapist" when she said she didn't know him. Since black male teens have been making love to black female teens for thousands of years, I would think that would be the natural 2 and 2 for the dad. I might be wrong tho.

 

i think if he was white he probably would have shot. the fact that some stranger is in the house would be grounds for shooting.

I think a Black homeowner thinks twice about shooting a White teen when it's obvious he's there with his daughter.

The only place this man thought this Black kid was an intruder inside his house was in his own mind.


His alibi is bullshit. Did his daughter scream before he entered her room?? Did the kid have a weapon?? Shooting a stranger simply because they are in your house without assessing the situation is stupid, even if it's legal to do so.

It's no different than coming home unexpectedly and finding your wife in bed with her lover and she says she's doesn't know dude.

I doubt the color matters much in this case. He didn't shoot because some guy was invading his house. He shot because some guy was invading his daughter.

Just what the world needs: another mental patient in a trigger-happy state in a trigger-happy culture, who is waiting to be given some goats and a dowry before he 'lets' someone have his daughter. I almost thought this was Afghanistan for a second.

If you are grown, then 'be' grown. Hell, when I was married I couldn't sleep in bed with my ex-wife in my mother's house during a visit. As my stepfather (the arch patriarch) once told me: "the only man coming under my roof is me". Hence the hotel stay.

I AM saying that this is the kind of behavior that the kind of Afghan who views his female family members as property engages in.
