The idea that one should refrain from posting offensive insulting posts is an outdated idea for you?

I like this one! As an agnostic who knows other agnostics and atheists I know that it doesn't keep us from being nice to others, regardless of what they may believe or not.
Actually I volunteered in the library of the local Protestant church for a few years, while already being agnostic, and after dropping 40 lbs, donated all my clothes to a charity collection of used clothes started by that same church.
They'd give them away to people in need.

That would be funny. As a kid I only watched my cousin play, because I thought the game was too difficult for me.
However would love to understand it better.

How is this even remotely funny, though? This is serious and not humorous in the least. What is it doing in a religious humor thread? :smt017

I didn't even see the deaf sign until you've pointed it out. Thanks for nitpicking.

This post should have been in the other thread, but this is a really good message nonetheless.

I guess if you want to interpret something, consider this...it's funny in a sense that people believe that they NEED religion to do noble and good things, when it's completely not true. It just requires empathy. That, and when religious people do things like that, they would do it as an ultimatum, especially exploiting third world kids.

    Errr...maybe it's morbidly serious.

God says: "Vengeance is mine",....Even if the Mods feel it is not their responsibility to intervene, this desecrator will someday have to stand by himself in judgment before his maker....

In all my years around my people, I have never seen another blackman take such delight in defacing God........

MS this thread isn't even humorous any longer. It may have started innocently enough, but you bliss and archman have turned it into something VERY ugly, pitting supposed "good Christians" against "good atheists". Its pathetic at this point. I agree that if they didn't like this thread they could've refrained from posting, but as we've seen elsewhere that's typically not how things go down. People love drama and y'all just perpetuate the problem.

As for your second paragraph...it's getting soooo old seeing people calling others out for their "true intentions". I'm pretty sure that you didn't appreciate that happening to you in the wheelchair thread, so don't be a hypocrite here.

Cry me a river. Your attitude is as serious as your font style. And, you're only making Christians look bad with your use of damnation and instilling guilt on others because you're too scared to face reality.

The posts that Archman makes only reinforces just how horrible a person he truly is. Reacting like a kid with an overactive imagination, given his educational background only reinforces a disconnect between the reality he lives in and the reality be believes in.

This thread is about religious humor, but there were never any real boundaries set and I also warned that if they don't like it, don't participate. It's not like I'm advertising this all over the forums. I'm keeping it in one place, while I don't go and sabotage other threads for the sake of being overly offended over nothing.

These are the same people that speaks on the ills of being politically correct, but when they see something they take offense to, particularly something completely absurd like this, their reactions devolve into childish threats that are nonexistent. And, as a black person, people like Arch are still shackled to the ills of slavery and forgotten much of the African gods his ancestors actually gave greater fervor towards. From a more matriarchal and more peaceful system [despite some ills], to a patriarchal, phallocentric absentee landlord of a system.

My tolerance is just too low with those people.

You have arrived at such a pitch of audacity that the only way he can get you to look up with some remorse is to put you on your back......Just remember, I told you, that the time for you to be humbled is right upon you.........

I'm perfectly sure Hades would have a nice and warm place for you, my good little slave.

The deaf Parish sign is clear as day, but in your haste to insult Christians, you didn't even deduce that it was not even a joke pic.

The second non-humor photo is a creed every religion follows, I do not care which it is. Understand that no matter how hard you to mock, religious people around the world don't apologize for caring about others and providing service. They are very proud of it.

Call me cynical, but I doubt the "good works" are even motivated by good intentions in the first place. Because they get a lot of tax exemptions here, they have more financial clout to even traverse to other countries just to spread their beliefs, which is the primary objective and make other areas [a distant] secondary concern.

It's a marketing ploy and a damn shame one too.

And for the record, you've seen the sign and picked it up. I'm more about the obvious sign, otherwise I would have made a snide towards deaf people intentionally. Don't even think about spinning this.

FOR HEAVENS SAKE, shut up Raiders. I know you are still fuming that I called your phony-ass out in the fat thread, but spare me your attempt to drag me into your sanctimonious rant.

If you took an uncrossed eye and viewed MY contributions straight, you would see that mine are LIGHT-HEARTED AND CUTE and have ALSO included Christian. Mine have NEVER gone to a place of filth and darkness like MS deliberately has/does (and admitted to), but your derelict ASSumption missed that point entirely.

And just stop lying - YOU love the drama Raiders, because you always come running into the middle of them for attention. You damned hypocrite.
