Cmon bro, even protecting his unborn child, your own flesh and blood wouldn't be motivation enough, its a piece of you. Even animals in nature will fight against that instinct to survive. A mother elephant, giraffe, will try her darnedest to protect her offspring. Maybe its a female thing. After doing that how can he look at his woman, walk down a dark alley with her, etc, at least now she knows she has to look out for herself if shit hits the fan.
Are you kidding. I've watched a hard of caribu let their young be eaten by a wolf. I'll see if I can find the clip for you. Even when they had the wolf out numbered ten to one they ran to protect themselves from a vicious killer. Not saying it's right it's nature fam
compares his unborn child to caribou and wolves...i feel sorry for the woman with you...best tell her she is on her own if it comes to life or flight:smt005
I would not have ran. would have distracted them so she could get away and let them steal all of the material things they wanted. Then my insurance company would have replaced the stuff. Its all about being calm and knowing how to talk to people and to a certain degree, taking control of the situation. It is not guaranteed to work but that would have been my move. Hauling ass does not always work either. I'm glad the lady did not get raped or killed.
As a nature buff I know it happens but it's usually when all hope is lost, not dipping from the jump, like see-yah.
You lack basic empathy. Of course I compared him and his unborn child to other mammals. That's what we are, we experience fear in similar ways. I'd say I felt bad for any dude who's with you but we all know Lippy can't keep a man :-D
That's incorrect. Weaker animals know they're weaker and avoid conflict at all costs. I've seen deer flee and leave their young to the coyotes. No flight just flee. I know all you manly men want to think you have it all figured out and will always do the manly thing but you don't truly know till it happens. Theres a reason why cops and soldiers need training. Your average modern day individual is incapable of dealing with conflict
you said you would run...that shows you are not capable of taking care of a loved one...empathy? do you even know what that means? my man would not run...but a real man wouldn't run...hmmm guess we all know where that leaves you... waiting for you to tell everyone that you would run to go find help:smt005
Nope tough guy. Have you ever been in a fight where you didn't know if someone were going to break it up. Ever been jumped? Ever had your nose broken or ribs kicked in? All I'm saying it's easy for all of us to talk shit safe at home. I've seen plenty of men freeze up under pressure. Fighting is a skill that needs to be developed and with that learning how to manage conflict.
And how long have you been a real man? Freudian slip? Lol It has nothing to do with being a real man, when you've actually been in a few fights you can talk till then..... And where did I say I would run?
Different animals employ different strategies. One of the most feisty animals in nature is a honey badger it will take on anything, even a lion on the other hand some animals rely on distraction by drawing attention to themselves to hopefully save their young, sometimes it works, sometimes it cost them their lives.
LOL, don't let's get it twisted. I'm not naive to act like I have on a cape with an S on my chest. Just think a dude has to at least make an effort to protect his fam.
I hear you just seen a lot in life that contradicts that. Dude I was cool with from the group Sporty Thieves walked out into traffic to save a kid and lost his life. No thought just did it. Seen dudes on Warburton talk tough "I ain't ever running" as soon as unfamiliar cars roll up the street dudes are read to jump in the bushes for cover. My main point is its not thought its pure instinct sometimes.
so you would leave your girlfriend, or pregnant wife? i agree with the others...you have to stay and at least try to resolve the issue...a TV can be replaced...a life can not
and unfortunately not everyone has good instincts. The son of the best law enforcement officer in New York could have been taught well by his father and die the first year on the job as a cop because he lacked the instincts of his old man. the quality of instinct varies from one person to another and sometimes tremendously. Instinct does not always = hauling ass
