I wish I had seen more than one episode. It was great but I just never got focused on it. What was your take on the series overall?

 

It really went off the rails after season one. the show runners clearly didn't know where to go in the story. I stopped watching about half-way through season 2.

With a 13 episode miniseries hopefully they will cut to the chase and have had the "heroes" actually be heroes, I mean saving people, battling supervillians etc.

 

Guess it's time for me to rent some DVDs, lol. Thanks for the tip.

Anthony Mackie's Falcon Poster

Looks cool. But, they could have given him a better outfit than a t-shirt and some camo pants. That doesn't even make sense for a pilot to wear. They should've gone with some sort of tactical outfit or lightweight armor.

 

I need to get that again. Lol

 

I'm also not a fan of the outfit, but this Falcon is based off of the 'Ultimate' version, and that version is almost entirely tech/military oriented.

 

I wonder where The Falcon's mask is. I don't think The Falcon is going to were the red and white unitard. I wonder if this version will be armed like Captain America. Those wings do not look very strong and sturdy. Then again, the red and white unitard wasn't sturdy, either. In the Ultimate version, the suit went through a real test; flying in hurricane force winds. He barely made it out alive.

 

Yeah, I've heard this. I'm not a big fan of the Ultimates Universe as a whole. But, I do like some of the ethnic re-interpretations of the characters.

It would seem to me if they going the tech/military route, he would have some sort of flight armored flight suit. Shit, at least give him a bullet proof vest, damn. ...lol

Motorcycle riders at least wear leathers.

Captain America: functional cool looking outfit.
The Winter Soldier: functional cool looking outfit.
Black Widow: functional cool looking outfit.
The Falcon: t-shirt and camo pants even though he's flying through the air at jet aircraft speeds.

Maybe, they'll give him something better later in the film as the story calls for it.

No, but most of the stuff by Mike Mignola is always interesting. Hoping they get around to making a Hellboy 3 movie.

 

Grant Gustin as The Flash

The costume, at least from what I see head-up looks promising and definitely in tune with the actual character and the source material it derived from. Still, the acting and debut would have to stand out.

Lightning bolts instead of bird wings. A nice alteration.

 

I'll hold out on giving an opinion on the Flash costume until the whole thing is revealed.

 

Wish it was a little brighter. But, you're right, it does look promising. This could end up being better than Arrow.

Is anyone watching The Originals or The Tomorrow People? Both are kind of good, IMHO.

 

It's better than any of the other suits I've seen on the CW thus far. Good upgrade.

 

Arrow's costume works for the show. And him having an actual mask now instead of that damn face paint is a definite upgrade.

I wish they'd give Bronze Tiger a decent outfit. They got dude looking like a thrift store Wolverine.

 

Heard of it. Haven't picked it up. I hear it's pretty good. I'm just now getting back into comics. But, I'm only picking up a few trades here and there.
