Do you prefer your man to be tall or short?

Uh...I'm 5'8" and usually wear 4 inch heels so ... that makes me a bit tall and a 5'5" guy would be right about breast level with me. Great in bed, not so much when I'm trying to walk, dance, etc

 

That's a BS comment right there. I wear heels almost all the freakin time. Even my sneakers have heels!! The only time I don't is when I'm chillin at home in my slippers or I'm working out at the gym.

 

Sneakers with heels kind of defeats the purpose of sneakers doesn't it? lol
And I don't know about you but if I totaled up all the time me and my girl spend together only 10 to 20 percent of it involves going going out out. We spend a lot of time inside, especially during winter, we cook together we watch netflix, do house chores.
We go to the gym together for boxing on Saturdays perhaps a movie out and some dinner once a week.
So as far as being a couple she gets maybe four to six hours per week where she has the opportunity to wear heals around me. Luckily for me she's 5'4 so it doesn't really matter whether she wears heels or not but I don't get the I like my heels argument a lot of women use. Just say you like looking at a taller man and be done with it

Height, weight, race and looks are not as important as a good heart and what that person's net worth is. Money makes anybody pretty desireable.

 

Life aint fair most women gravitate towards tall men, most men gravitate towards beautiful women and so on and so forth, so if you are short and get turned down by a woman solely because of that, take it as her loss and move on cus there are more women than men in this world and unless you are a real loser you would get one.

I agree with that lol. One of those times when being just a little bit shorter would come in handy!

I often strike out cause im 5' 5 . Ive made peace with it. I can deliver in bed though 8) Seriously though, i've made peace and allow everyone to have a preference. Win some and you lose some! Losing sucks tHough.

 

People see more options in bigger populations, so yes makes sense this happens to short men. As a tall woman, 5'8" I sympathize with short men. We are in similar situations. I'll be the first to admit I highly prefer a guy to be taller than myself and the taller the better. However, height is not a direct correlation to the size of....other things... or the skills involved with such other things. It's not the be all, end all... And yes, lack of height can also be compensated for in the pea-sized animal part of my brain, by a man adding bulk to his frame.

However, all of this is... no more superficial than how a man would pick out a woman based on her looks. I've never heard anyone say that life is fair.

 

To emphasize what SouthFloridaGirl wrote: men prefer women smaller and shorter than them. So when the day comes that I, as a 5'10" woman, can look around and see tall men with tall women like me, not just the little tiny women they tend to pick - then I'll feel sorry for short men lol.

 

Gotta disagree. Men seem to be more adaptable in their dating habbits. Like I've said before short women don't want short men but short men will pursue short women, poor women don't like poor men but poor men will pursue poor women, fat women generally don't like fat men but fat men will pursue fat women. Maybe this is an age gap thing again but men seem far more flexible in who they will pursue and date.
Women usually have a much bigger hang up about height. I may have about a inch and a half on you but you'd totally over look me for someone maybe 6'2 or taller at least as I've seen. I constantly hear the "I want to wear my heels and still feel small" as an excuse for this. It's largely on women when it comes to this superficial stuff even though men get the bum wrap.

 

Maybe you are slightly right. One guy I'm seeing right now is 5'8" - which is exactly my height. He pursued me. But is it that men are more flexible, or is it that men are doing more of the pursuing than the women?

Another guy was 5'7". He had pursued me. And another guy was 6"5' and had pursued me as well. Like most women I like a guy taller than me... Well... of the tall guys out there, guys in that extreme height category are the ones who seem more likely to go for someone my height due to the fact that too much shorter seems too short.
But, again, it takes someone as tall as 6'4" and up to actually have my height as a PREFERENCE.... and guys in that height range, are SO RARE. This is why tall women's options are indeed more limited. It's kind of like how some women who hover in the 5 ft and below height range probably PREFER guys to be in a shorter 5'8"ish?? range. These will be the women with whom these short guys get a break. But again... full grown women in that height range are SO RARE.

So you may be partly right, but as a tall lady I can tell you that for sure I am not in the *preferred* height range of *most* men.
