The thought of this makes me feel ill, bloody disgusting.

If I complain in a restaurant I always wait till after all the food has been served, just in case some idiot doesn't like my criticism and something nasty like this happens to the food.

LOL, exactly. I never get when folks argue with the staff and the food to come to them is out of sight, not kosher to do at all. :)

I was in phoenix for a week, came home Tuesday night so I saw a lot of this on the news there. The bill was insane and plain stupid.

There are people that think the bill was made for other ulterior motives and knew it was going to be struck. I will stay tuned.

I know Gov. Brewer, I have worked with her on multiple committees. I hate to say it but she is the very definition of a sheep and none to bright. Don't be fooled, she got this call right, but for the following reasons; large businesses including Apple, American Airlines, AT&T and Intel voiced opposition to the measure, and the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee expressed concerns. My take is that if these large corporations that mean, millions if not billions of dollars and jobs to the AZ. economy had not voiced serious concerns, she would have catered to the ultra-conservative right (that we have WAY too many of here in AZ.) and let the bill pass.

I swear it makes me sad and not about to tell people I grew up in AZ. :smt012 Luckily the governor vetoed this stupid law.

I hope that our Governor here will do the same thing but I get the feeling that the right-wingers that currently run Georgia politics don't feel the same way. As much as I love the South it is embarrassing to be associated with these people sometimes.

this is actually very sad...sad in the way the decision was only swayed by big business and money...instead of basic humanity

Big Money rules and conservatives cowtow to them. It is never out of the goodness of their hearts that social conservative pols give up their beliefs.
