Sorry but the OP did not state to post only BM/WW couples in the thread and actually gave the example of WM/BW couples so I posted the first IR couples on TV that came to mind (which included a BM/WW couple) I celebrate the beauty of love and diversity in ALL of its forms.
I saw that back in the day. Ahead of its time with the theme and content, but failed to reach and audience, mainly because well...people don't really want to see such families on TV. They are perfectly fine with Bill Huxtable and a black family. But, seems like mixing things up just never really felt kosher. Sad...and the show actually had some decent episodes. Bookworm and I would love to revive this concept someday, albeit in a modern motif.
thats what I was looking for true interracial in all its combos including white and asian, black and asian, latin and white black and latin etc...didn't think it would be that big of a deal here...thanx tho...
There was also The Robert Guillaume Show(Robert Guillaume was on Soap and Benson), whose character falls for his receptionist, a divorced white single mother who had a daughter the same age as his daughter. The two shared the fact that they were alone(he was a widower)and they shared a kiss(once). Then there was Night Court. The black male court staffer is married to an Asian woman. There was a short-lived sitcom on CBS that had a scene where a black Chicago cop gets a kiss from an Asian woman. I wanted True Colors to stay on longer. Frankie Faison and the actress who played his wife were very realistic. But it was not to be.
damn you guys are some tv-watchin' people! I get only over-the-air broadcast tv. Have it just for news, sports and background noise. Whatever else I want to watch I watch over the web when I have the time. My computer hooks up to my flat screen and an increasing amount of web content is hd. Saves a helluva lot of $$ and keeps my head free of whatever underhanded bullshit media is peddling these days 99.999% of what I'm interested in are documentaries anyway, but I also catch stuff like the colbert report and the daily show and other comedy on hulu. also watch international news on sites like livestation and such You couldn't pay me to watch tv drama or even most of the popular comedy these days. just sayin. carry on
Some people here are pushing agendas, others are just dumb negroes who can't follow basic guidelines or directions
Dixon & Ivy of "90120" had a love which overlapped seasons 2 and 3 by transcending the summer between two seasons: http://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=...oenFnnYlWX3TVq3hBINAuFkg&ust=1392580623416995 Dixon & Adriana had a tortured love which began in the middle of season 3 and ended in heartache for both at times: https://www.google.com/search?q=902...itle%2F411-project-runaway-screencap;1280;720
Got to get that Luther DVD set. Has anyone seen the new Vanity Fair cover? It is the Hollywood edition and Julia Roberts was sitting on his lap. Hope they make a flick together soon.
Shawn and Angela on Boy Meets World Lucy and Desi on I Love Lucy Blair Underwood and Latina wife on The Event Isaiah Washington and Sandra Oh character's on Grey's Anatomy Sofia Vergara and Ed O'Neil on Modern Family Demetri and Zoey (Gabrielle Union) on Flashforward Danny and Lacey on Twisted
*Not "interracial" because Underwood's character was also Hispanic I'm gonna start calling you Jack Reacher 'cause you reaching with some of these picks
Per the OP's comment below, he was looking for all combinations of IR couples on tv. You can still call me 'Reacher' if you like but I would prefer 'Jane Reacher' instead.
I found an episode of "True Colors" on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYA_7Biwfng It was a good show and obviously done enough to garner 2 full seasons. I wonder if there will ever be a remake, since they want to remakes things.
