This shows that no matter how big a splash you make in this world, you're not going to please everyone. Artists should be allowed to explore their dark side as well as their bright side. I remember when Madonna's Like A Prayer video came out, these evangelicals gave the world a litany of things they didn't like about it; the flaming crosses and her kissing what looks like a black Jesus. Ozzie Osborne, Alice Cooper, KISS(they were not a satanic group but they used their personal demons to project in creative ways) and other performers used this imagery in their acts a lot.
