14 is very young, and to expect someone of that age to be able to parent (even with support) is absurd IMO. I seriously hope she's getting good solid counseling because if not this pregnancy has the potential to only make her recovery that much harder.

Too much truth went to these posts and I commend with the utmost pleasure.

I'm wholly pleased with the rationale on here.

i think god weeps when people die from natural disaster...i think he is devastated by war...i think he cringes when people die at the hands of another in a senseless act of violence...i think god is bewildered by the human race and how we live so grandly in some areas while others are starving...i think that when a woman makes the choice to abort a child for whatever reason he is there to comfort her in that choice that must have been very very difficult

please keep in mind this is what "i" think...

The Bible supported ritual sacrifice as a you did it in the name of God. So yes God would be ok with you killing a fetus.... as long as you said for God during the "killing"

    Passages on Abortion.

Hosea 9:11-16 Hosea prays for God’s intervention. “Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer. Give them, 0 Lord: what wilt thou give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts. . .Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb.”

Numbers 31:17 (Moses) “Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every women that hath known man by lying with him.” In other words: women that might be pregnant, which clearly is abortion for the fetus.

Hosea 13:16 God promises to dash to pieces the infants of Samaria and the “their women with child shall be ripped up”. Once again this god kills the unborn, including their pregnant mothers.

2 Kings 15:16 God allows the pregnant women of Tappuah (aka Tiphsah) to be “ripped open”. And the Christians have the audacity to say god is pro-life. How and the hell is it that Christians can read passages where God allows pregnant women to be murdered, yet still claim abortion is wrong?

But it does also cover Infanticide, Child Abuse and murdering children.

Bottom line: God isn't pro-life, nor the Bible supports pro-life positions.

The Bible supports the belief that God chooses who lives and dies.

So you're absolving an inefficient and defective mental case from all wrongdoing? That sort of arrogance isn't healthy, ya know?

The bible does not even claim to be from God.

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 2 Timothy 3:16

    Say again?

    Christ, the Eternal Word

1In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.2 He existed in the beginning with God.3 God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him.4 The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone.5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it. John 1:1-5

Even the parts that would have you complete subservient to a man while has multiple wives. How about slavery is that inspired by God too?

If any one of you would bother to take the time to fully read and understand the Bible in its proper context, you would discover so many things that are contrary to what you think you know.

ALL scripture is INSPIRED by god. Interesting wording right there. According to that explaination I can write a scripture right now and you would have to believe that it is inspired by God! Nowhere does it say IN the book of timothy or saint mark or any of them that it is in fact the the word of god. Nor does it say that the Bible IS in fact from God. It is clearly from a perspective other than God. Not to mention that God never talks in the first person in any of those said scriptures. Im sure plenty of NBA players was inspired by those before them like Michael Jordan, that does not mean that Jordan made them to be the players that they are today.

The question is are those thumpers going to stand up to the plate and take care of the mother and baby whom they want to save from the abortion doctor? They should have responsiblity for their guilt trips and crimminal tactics.
