    ^^^Thank you mama! :freehug:

*sigh* Let me see if I can break this down for you...

A woman wanting to create a child with an athletic man, solely in the hopes of building a "great athlete" is absurd. "All she wants is an athletic guy to build athletic kids"...like I said, dumb as fuck. How about creating a child with someone you love without preconceived notions of what that child needs to become? Hope the child is healthy, hope the child is happy, but to hope they're a "great athlete"? C'mon now.

Actions are an invitation to judgement. I'd never judge someone based on their race, their gender, their sexual orientation...or anything else out of their control. Ignorance and stupidity though...those are choices, and I've never been afraid to call it like I see it in that regard. :smt061

It just doesn't seem like that's enough. She's affected that mans life (and earnings) for a minimum of 18 years. A stern lecture doesn't send the message that her behavior was unacceptable. Incredibly frustrating.

Just like the case you cited above about the frozen sperm that was used without permission. I hate that people can be tricked into something so serious as parenting (even if its just the financial piece of it).

Glad to see another person who is fair-minded on the board, unfortunately often times our legal system is a cold, cruel place.

This PC bullshit is so tired. You haven't have the slightest clue what the woman actually really wants for her child only basing your assumption off what another person says. All because a person ranks a certain attribute highly in a child now they're dumb and a non caring parent. SMH PLEASE, use some common sense, nobody cares about the very small exceptions to the rule you think of.

I guess all the geniuses who procreate children with other geniuses in hopes of having highly intelligent children are in fact DUMB. Astute logic you got there.

I rarely agree...but it is actually very common for people to look for strengths in a partner in order to mate...for all the couples that review file after file before deciding on an egg or a sperm donor this practice seems very normal

I swear I get more logic out of my 5 year old lol. Smh. Ok, you're right...people should procreate for the purposes of building some genetic masterpiece. Fuck love and procreating for the innocent purposes of creating a family together. Instead go for a man with one quality you hope your child will inherit. Forget the package as a whole lol

And even worse, a stern lecture probably wouldn't keep her from doing it again. I've been a man for a while now and I know for a fact that despite this being a public story, other guys will do the exact same thing in the future and not even think twice about it. That's what happens when blood leaves the brain so you can get an erection lol. On the other hand, if I were a millionaire (and married) even the thought easy sex with some random woman probably still wouldn't make me do something that stupid.

The law is a very harsh mistress, indeed.

She never claimed to know what another person wanted but basically the idea of trying to genetically engineer kids is DUMB and it is DUMB considering all the genetic mutations that might keep your kids from have the attributes YOU want. So lets say you purposely doop some poor idiot into have kids with you to have kids that are athletes and they come out as poets what then? Seems like a big waste of time and energy not to mention devious and under handed not to mention plain DUMB.

That's far different than having that person in your life afterwards though

In the end, THIS is key. Love and all of the other pleasantries that you look for in someone you would consider procreation with is great...and in a perfect world you will have a happy, healthy child. If they inherit dad's smarts in math or mom's good looks, then thats a bonus. However, when you consider becoming a parent, you have to ultimately consider the type of person they are and what they stand to offer your child as their parenting unit. Will they be selfless and give their all to that child and be the parent we all dream of being to our children...

lets do ourselves and everyone else a favor and actually think about that child for a change.

    This. All of it.

Unfortunate that common sense is truly lost on some.

how long is that person going to be in your life?

strangely enough we all make selections in mating every day...you probably have more criteria than most and not even realize you are doing it...it starts with initial attraction...then additional things come into play...

And that's exactly why deceitful, conniving woman who trick men into parenthood like has been discussed here, should get NOTHING! I'd actually like to see them punished far beyond just not being supported financially by the "father". The laws seriously need to catch up here.

Dude that height shit is a joke with me and Tarshi. I'm around 6ft I'm not worried about my height lol.
I don't think there's anything wrong with going for who you're attracted to but dating someone specifically and solely to create the "perfect" child is ridiculous.

What's dumb is this train of thought and you know it because look how extreme you have to get with your scenarios to try to prove a point. Now all sudden this parent won't love their child if they don't come out the way the way they want/intended them smh lol. The more you know.

Translation: I'm not 6ft but I'll say this in the hopes of impressing you.

Stay on topic and remember what we're taking about it. If you're only reason for dating someone is to create your perfect child there will be disappointment. We see this shit all the time when kids don't live up to their parent's dreams.

5'11 1/2 happy. You people I swear lol

He's suing her for Defamation..She's "allegedly" on (phone) record saying he never pressured her for an abortion...

"Foster says in his lawsuit, "Norwood has engaged in a campaign to impugn the character and reputation of [Arian] with the intent to extort monies from him."

He wants unspecified damages and for her to pay his legal costs.
