My first year law professors told us all that the law often times has nothing to do with justice or fairness, I have seen their words proven true time and time again in my career.

Luckily for my client he followed my advice early in his career and saved/invested most of his money. However since being cut, he is now burning through it at a high rate and is now desperate to find a coaching job that will pay enough to at least break even on all the alimony and child support, while he is living in an apartment.

The courts, ex wife and mistress don't care what he has to do, just as long as he pays each month. He is petitioning for a lower amount but that is a slow process and the ex wife especially is fighting a reduction tooth and nail while turning the kids against him.

A very real possibility awaits him below if he can't find a good source of income or some kind of payment reduction.

I really doubt they are bound by state statue. I have seen judges pick and choose what laws to follow and what not to despite people being guilty. People always have a choice to pick and choose and I doubt there is a big check system on it.

The more leeway a judge tries to have in the face of a state statute the more likely they are to be overturned on appeal, judges hate that. Very easy to check on a state by state basis as to the laws that govern child support/alimony. That being said, judges do have supreme power in the family court per below.

never mind. I still have to get the movie through another route maybe netflix.

This movie seems more related to Cali's divorce system.

Shit like this makes me want to live in a box away from other people. Fucking disgusting. So what happens if he can't pay? Jail time?

Brittany Norwood backs off claims Arian Foster pressured her to get an abortion

    http://www.khou.com/news/editors-pi...essured-her-to-get-an-abortion-241203201.html

HOUSTON – There’s another twist in the pregnancy scandal involving Texans star Arian Foster.

The woman who claims she’s carrying Foster’s baby backs off her original accusations in a new audio recording leaked to TMZ Sports.

Brittany Norwood and her attorney originally told KHOU 11 News that Foster was harassing her and pressuring her to get an abortion.

She filed a lawsuit against the star running back last week and a judge issued a restraining order.

But in a recorded conversation with Foster after the suit was filed, Norwood told him, "I never once said that you told me to get an abortion."

She is heard saying, "I was never in fear of my life around you. Like, I didn’t (expletive) need a restraining order."

Norwood told Foster, "I love you and you’re still the father of my child. You think I’m going to let anybody, like, desecrate your name—especially if my baby has Foster tagged to it?"

Norwood’s attorney, Doug York, confirmed to KHOU 11 News that she did make the statements heard in the recording. He said Norwood was just trying to calm the waters between her and Foster and they stand by the lawsuit.

York said the 20-year old University of Houston student has several text messages from Foster that back up their original claims.

"You just can’t bring a life into this world under these circumstances. It’s not fair to anyone. It’s not just about you," read one message, according to Norwood.

She said last week that Foster’s brother, Abdul, also sent messages.

"He’s like, ‘You know, if you loved Arian at all you would have an abortion because this child is going to ruin everything,’" Norwood said. "’Like, ‘Our whole family will never accept this child.’"

Norwood said the baby is a boy due in June.

The latest twist was a hot topic on Sports Radio 610 Monday.

"I seriously doubt her attorney did anything outside of her wishes which makes me believe she is not telling the truth about this entire situation," one fan said.

"I feel as though she may have been trying to get pregnant. Am I allowed to say that on the air?" said another.

"Based on her actions in that interview there, it clearly sounds like she is using this for fame," a fan said.

Norwood didn’t want to comment Monday, but York said she was just trying to extend an olive branch.

It’s not clear if her conversation with Foster was recorded over the phone or in person, which would have violated the terms of the restraining order.

Foster is married and has children.

The only person I feel any sympathy for is Foster's wife.

If these hoes had the chance, they'd get knocked up by Warren Buffett or Bill Gates. The difference is that both are too smart to let such females get anywhere near them.

In Georgia, getting locked up for child support is almost too easy. Sadly I see it happen all the time. :|

Those kind of women don't exist in there world. Was recently told by a friend that all she wants is an athletic guy to have athletic kids with and maybe that kid will be a great athlete. Apparently some of these chicks are investing for long term too lol

I agree with north. It's actually a pretty smart plan. If both parents have the same goal for their child than it's more likely for that child to reach that goal.

Pretty much, everyone has different goals and wants out of their children. I coulda swore good ole raider used to get pissed at people passing judgement on others then goes and do the same thing here.
