Regardless of how you felt about dude he had a family to feed. Don't make this internet shit real you have no idea who might try to get real with you back. It's not worth the drama

I forgot how he was towards you, and his failed attempts to emasculate JA. Now that I recall, he was an active trainer in the Military, but would also verbally degrade the Army. So I can see if someone possibly took umbrage with it and took it to his Sups.(if that did happen).

I agree with you on this. It's a wonderful piece of advice...in theory. Because it's become a delicate balance between free speech and being accountable for your words. As we have seen (cyber-bullying of the vulnerable being an example), sometimes you have to call the internet asshole out. Time and again, we read of military personnel who who are reprimanded or fired for speaking ill of the President or their Commanders. Of cops, firemen, politicians, company execs, etc., who tweet, blog and post away, ignorant of the possible consequences. I'm bound by my employer to not disparage the Company (not that I ever would), and I knew THIS GOING IN, so I don't talk reckless (or even want to, tbh). It's not rocket science.

No matter what side of the coin you choose, common sense, common decency and putting yourself in the other person's shoe should be your e-rule of thumb.

Guys have no clue what we deal with. I'm glad this one found out for himself. I have zero tolerance now for guys who bring up anything sexual before we've even met. And they try to be sly about it, but you can smell the bs from miles away. I haven't encountered all the tricks yet, I'm sure, but have seen a pretty exhaustive repertoire.

I hear you on all points. I too was relieved to know that I wasn't the only one that it happened to. Sexually explicit when you say no, pushing too hard, becoming angry and aggressive and sending constant messages before you can read the first one.

I'll bet a paycheck this is happening on free sites. If you ladies are really serious about relationships pony up the money for paid sites. I doubt you get the same thing at least not with that insane volume of frequency. I will say women have it way easier in terms of dating. Any area where the bottom 20%.of girls can as many dates as the top 20% of men says a lot (not being literal hope you get my drift)

Tarshi real talk what you guts are describing is really not a big deal. That's why there's a block and report function. Three clicks and that person is out of your life so you can get closer to the guy of your dreams.
Why would someone choose bitching rather than using the block func...... wait a minute

Oh I'm sorry. I had no idea that as a woman yourself, you can speak for us and how it feels to have aggressive and sexually explicit men hit on you, whilst trying to find men who are genuine.

    I stand corrected

I created a profile on a dating site one time and it was up for maybe 6 hrs prior to deleting it...similar experience and not at all surprising. I definitely know that online dating is not my thing, so hats off to those of you that do.

What's more concerning is the amount of men who are actually local. Scary to me.

You act like you're face to face. Years of being on this site hasn't taught you there are over sexed assholes out there? Come on kid you're too smart for that.
