From what I read people on here contacted the women in his photographs on FB trying to "out" him even though it was clear they were amateur shots meant for public consumption but assholes felt compelled to make it a big deal. Then "they" notified the military of his activities on this site trying to endanger dude's job. He stopped posting after that, fucking disgusting.

How would someone contact the military unless they knew his unit or CO/XO, and what would they say? He wasn't married.

It's pretty easy to figure out but its beyond fucked up to try and fuck with a man's livelihood knowing damn well he has a family to support. I thought I he spoke about her as his ex wife. In fact, shortly before he left the forum he was posting pictures of himself with his girlfriend.

 

People get chummy and trust people. And it may just happen by accident like if you're friends with someone on fb and comment on something they may be friends with someone you intentionally try to avoid. Its the one thing I truly hate about social media. Avoiding certain people is nearly impossible unless you withdraw from it altogether.

One thing I do appreciate about this site it has made me hip to warning signs of very clear crazy.
