What's Good?

I really like the vibe around this place. There's a family atmosphere around here that is absent on a lot of forums. I thought I'd introduce myself to the beautiful people here.

I hope I don't disappoint anyone but despite my username, I'm not an exotic stripper. lol. I used this name on myspace years ago and oh my gawd you have no idea how many invitations I used to get.:smt043 Sorry to disappoint the ladies who imagined me as the guy with sweaty abs at clubs on stage gyrating my hips while women shove dollar bills down my drawz.

I'm actually a journalist. I've interviewed many celebrities including NFL Legend Joe Theismann, Actress Keshia Knight Pulliam (Rudy Huxtable from The Cosby Show) and others. I recently published a book, too. You can see my awards, resume, etc here.

I've been married for almost three years. In reading the threads here, I noticed that I can definitely relate to the difficulties other interracial couples go through. I live in Tennessee, so my wife and I have dealt with enough prejudice. (The south hasn't changed much). I like the groove around here and figured a "Black Male Dancer" would fit right in. Nice to meet everyone!

Thanks! It's a blessing to get a job in what I majored in. Unfortunately a lot of people don't. My wife has a masters' degree and still hasn't gotten her dream job yet.

LOL!! Don't worry. If I ever find myself in a financial crunch, stripping would be my first job choice. (I can't front...I've always wanted to do it). So it's a distant possibility!

 

hmmm...today I spent a majority of the day running my kids around and doing errands like laundry and grocery shopping. Nothing particularly fascinating.

I forget what I was searching on Bing, however a random internet search is how I happened along this site. I posted almost immediately, and I think Petty was the first person who seemed to take interest in befriending me. North was my biggest WWBM crush... I remember everyone else welcoming me very warmly...and I'm still around today.
