Recreational Pot Shops Legal...yes Legal http://www.cnn.com/2013/12/28/us/10-things-colorado-recreational-marijuana/ Huge victory for pot fans in Colorado Are other states to follow?
This is kind of old news. I mean it was all over the television a year ago or so. That being said until they can get this on a federal level. There is still that limbo. less people in prison for this stuff really takes a burden off of these states. I recall the cost to imprison someone is 30,000. I could have paid all of my tuition with that amount.
I think it will follow federally in due time Once more states get on board it will be the popular thing to do
no sale of it begins on that date. Legalization happened in 2012. They added it to their constitution in 2012. I sat back and said that this is going to be interesting for all of those people in prison for that charge. How do you handle them?
Oops wish I could change the thread title to deal more with shops And that's the last time I cosign Lippy lol
I really hate this kind of system where we have to wait for something that would help everyone out. Less people in prison. More money to the states due to taxation of the sale and less people in prison to pay for. but w/e light it up if you are in Washington or Colorado.
I think people already in prison will stay there for breaking the law at that time But yeah u got tax revenue coming in from it, why not take advantage of it
it isn't legal to sell for recreational use until 1/1/2014 they are working on a plan for release right now...colorado wasn't nearly as bad as california's 3 strike rule
He has already changed the title of his first post so I am going to walk away from the argument. I also wish I could change the thread title too. There have been cases where the title of the thread didn't match what I really meant. but I have been too lazy to complain about it.
i didn't think it was an argument...i just thought you were misinformed...I live in Colorado and the sale of recreational use MJ starts on New Years Day...there are only a few shops that have all the proper licensing to legally sell on that day...there is actually quite a bit of controversy right now on prescription vs. recreational...the state is forecasting 60 million dollars in additional tax revenue for recreational use sales...it is going to be much cheaper to purchase with a prescription passing a bill or law is one thing...when it goes into effect is quite another
