judging from my pic, am I dark-skinned? I always thought I was, but one black chick told me I was "red" and another chided me when I referred to myself as dark-skinned, insisting that I'm "brown skinned" (as if dark-skinned is necessarily a bad thing) I get pretty damned dark in the summer and I think I look better for it :freehug:
Just do the brown paper bag test, if you're darker you're dark-skin and if you're lighter you're light skin.

I'm super duper dark skin and interestingly it depends on where I am in the country if chicks like that or not. West coast and down south chicks usually don't like it
Forgot about the "brown paper bag" test :mrgreen: That's really old school, like if your areoles are pink you're white, but if they're brownish, you're not. Anyone heard of that one? I don't know about the south, but I do know in cali you might as well be beetlejuice if you're dark skin.
In my experience, people aren't as color conscious in the West. Physical attractiveness trumps skin color, generally.
