Its official the media is hell bent on provoking a race war/riots. First news about the Knockout game to try, and make blacks depicted as thugs. Then they find this to make black people enraged about whites......They are creating the perfect recipe for ethnic conflict, and basically enraging both races deliberately.

Anyone who cannot see what the media is trying to pull is blind.

No this isn't a fad. No it's not a new thing.

Used to be called a sucker punch, and really how many strangers are being set up to be knocked out by (Black)teens??

If this were really a thing, as many cliques of 5-6 Black kids I see going and coming home from school on the Metro in D.C., it would be in the local news everyday.

Most teens around these parts just aren't that stupid. You start a beef with the wrong person in the DMV just for kicks and you might be attending your own funeral.

People walk around with sidearms in the grocery store here in VA.

This is a media fantasy, not something that's really jumping off.

Yes, the media loves to play chess with ethnicities... and just like chess it's black vs. White.

I think so. It's either the media or something else in the air that's creating this kind of atmosphere.

Barrett does have a defense attorney, they believe that it's because his client has bipolar disorders, which is why he attacked. They're trying to say that it was his mental health issues that caused it and not because the victim was black.

I'd like to see how this plays out in court.

If I was in the jury, I'd think that they have great mental health assistance in prison!!!!

yes, it's the media. But then again, when did the country not have this kind of atmosphere? An ugly racial atmosphere is the norm for this country, not the exception.

If I were to become a victim of the "Knockout game", I would take total responsibility, because I was not aware of my surroundings and I want to possess the ability to forgive another human being. In addition, I would not press charges against the individual(s).

If someone I loved were to become a victim of the "Knockout game", I hope I would have forgiveness and compassion for the individual(s) who committed the senseless act. Such an occurrence would test my values and faith, in so many areas.

Exactly. The poor man's jaw was broken in two places, which required surgery, and he had to spend several days in the hospital. He also lost a few teeth. Regardless of whether or not he chooses to forgive him, his attacker should be held accountable for his actions.
