What about Michael Clarke Duncan as Kingpin in Daredevil? No one seem to think twice about that casting choice especially since there weren't that many white actors to match his overall physical presence to play the character or even thought any worse than they may already have when it came to black males.

And what about the planned & recently announced X-Men:Apocalypse for 2016? It would be a smart move to cast a black actor for the part of En Sabah Nur/Apocolypse IMO.

Yeah, I googled it, and they killed him off before it really took off. Was based off her Golden Aged WWII boyfriend as well. Now THAT would've broken barriers.

    The Rock?? Vin Diesel??? LMAO.

In all seriousness, Apacolypse is one of the most scariest, most intimidating, but highly intelligent villains in mainstream comics history. The actor who will get casted for him should also play Thanos and Darkseid, since they are similar characters, lmao.

Umm...No. I said ACTOR. How & why did you come up with Vin Diesel & The Rock as actors for that role even as a joke? It doesn't need to be some widely known actor. Just someone with decent acting skills.

And FYI : The person they used for the CGI modeling for the Thanos cameo in The Avengers movie was black, so a black actor as Thanos or even Darkseid isn't a stretch.

And for anyone having trouble picturing a black actor as En Sabah Nur, here's a custom action figure that someone did of the character before he acquired his modern day super villain look :

I think Apocalypse's body should be all special effects, like Hulk in Avengers. And Michael Dorn (Worf from Star Trek) should do the voice.

I remembered that Diana/Wonder Woman had a black boyfriend. I remembered he died trying to save her life(I may be wrong about his death). I think WW was attracted to his strength and character. It would not matter to her what color this man was. I think WW would be eternally single.

For the Marvel comics nerds here. They are bringing the black/hispanic Ultimate Spider-Man (Miles Morales) to the regular Marvel Universe in January. He and the ultimate version Of Mr. Fantastic (Reed Richards) are crossing over in an effort to save their universe from Galactus.

There have been rumors that marvel is going to get rid of their 'Ultimate' line all together and keep Ultimate Spider-Man in the regular universe.

WHAT?!!! I love the Ultimate lineup. It is a good product for those fans that are unfamiliar to catch up. The Ultimate Avengers brought me up to speed after so many years of a comic book dry spell.

Considering that they have seemingly killed off Peter Parker in the regular Marvel Universe since Otto Octavius' mind now inhabits Peter Parker's body, sounds like a good way to set up & make Miles Morales the new Spider-Man of the regular Marvel Universe.

Speaking of which, check out this preview image of next months Mighty Avengers.

I guess Luke Cage gets tired of Octo-Spiderman's shit.

I saw something regarding Octo-Spider-Man soon to become infected by the Venom symbiote?

Clearly they are setting up for Octavius to go back to his bad ways sooner or later. It would be quite interesting if they did make Morales the new Spider-Man & Octavius with Parker's body & powers becomes his new arch nemesis.

RoboCop 2014 Full Theme Song (Possibly)

Whether if it's fan made or the real deal, the song itself comes off as being rather catchy, though doesn't quite follow, nor has the heart of the original theme composed by Basil Poledouris. Give it a listen and sound off.

Saw The Hobbit last night. It was GREAT! Can't wait for the final installment!

The key was the same as Basil Poledouris' Robocop theme. Not a bad theme. If I am mistaken, this piece sounded as if it were composed by Ramin Djawadi Iron Man's composer for the first film.

I use to despise metal or rock key components in many songs, especially when retooled from the original. But, pending on how they are done, I can actually grow to appreciate them.

The use of rock or metal components in film scores was used by many composers back in the days. Leonard Rosenman used an electric bass in his score for Beneath The Planet Of The Apes. Jerry Goldsmith used electric guitars, bass, and drums for Escape From The Planet Of The Apes. Tom Scott(then 20 at the time)used an electric guitar, bass, as well as a flute and a tenor sax(which he probably played) for the film Conquest Of The Planet Of The Apes. Elmer Bernstein used an electric jazz guitar in the film Some came Running and the film Baby, The Rain Must Fall(which was sung by Glen Yarbrough who sang The Greatest Adventure in the first animated Hobbit film and in The Return Of The King). Michael Kamen, Eric Clapton and David Sanborn all collaborated to make the score for the film Lethal Weapon classic. In Japan, composer Koh Otani used electric guitar riffs on his score for the Gamera films because he was working with a small orchestra. Anne Dudley used an electric guitar on her score for the film Buster with Phil Collins. Joel McNeeley used a lot of guitar riffs in his score for The Avengers. Other composers have used rock guitar riffs. But, I think if it weren't for Ramin Djawadi's score for Iron Man, noone would be inspired. These things have their place. I just don't like listening to an electric guitar riff, if it is used inappropriately; simply for the sake of sound. Things like that take away from the scene and the moment.
