What a bunch losers those people. I wonder if the camera is focused on them if they grieve for a friend or relative? They will not find that conforting. I can't watch it either. Sometimes if I was a celebrity I would make sure no cameras are there so I can grieve in peace.

So sad and heavy. Had to hold a cry back. I feel more sad about him than any celebrity that passed.

james dean died in a car crash in 1955 on his way to a racing event driving his 550 spyder...almost eerie how similar these tragic events are as the comparisons begin...dean's death had a similar reaction from his fans...one of deep sorrow

James Dean died during the making of Giant with Rock Hudson and Elizabeth Taylor. In one scene, during his character's(Jett Rink) drunken tirade in the dark, actor Nick Adams did a voiceover for him. In a scene with Rock Hudson, Taylor had her back turned to the camera because she was in tears after hearing of his death. In an interview with Gig Young, he commented about young kids speeding on the road. Dean, before leaving, delivered an impromptu public service message for all those kids with the need for speed. The message ended with him saying,"Because the life you save may be mine."

there is a huge car rally in tribute to Paul this Sunday, ill be there.

the crash site is less than 10 mins from my spot in Stevenson Ranch, I found out today that Roger lived the next street up from me... all this is surreal

    Ride or die!
I so hope he enjoyed his last ride before the crash.
