    Now Official from Marvel Studios.

Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson are the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver in 'Avengers' sequel.

    Story from Entertainment Weekly.com.

The world may have known the casting of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver for awhile, but nothing is set in stone until the almighty gods of superhero movies give the final say. Now, it’s set in stone — Marvel confirms Elizabeth Olsen (Martha Marcy May Marlene) and Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass) will be playing super-powered twins Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver in the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron.

No word yet on how they will be brought into the mega Marvel Cinematic Universe fold, but the addition of the Scarlet Witch seems to suggest the introduction of magic to the alien and tech-dominated MCU. In the Marvel comics, the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are mutants — children of formidable metal-wielding mutant, Magneto. Because of the confusing movie rights issues between Marvel and Fox over X-Men (read: mutant) characters, the character Quicksilver will also appear in the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past. Evan Peters (American Horror Story) plays the speedy mutant in the May 23, 2014, film.

Although Taylor-Johnson and Olsen play siblings in the Avengers sequel, they will be onscreen together as a married husband and wife in the Frank Darabont-penned Godzilla reboot, set to be released May 2014.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is slated for a May 1, 2015, release date.

Frank Darabont. He played one of the biplane gunners in Peter Jackson's King Kong. He directed The Mist. Executive producer on the show The Walking Dead. Now, he is directing Godzilla. I hope he paid close attention to the response to Roland Emmerich's Godzilla(which would've been okay if it was not titled Godzilla. It was GINO; Godzilla In Name Only). We'll see how this one turns out.

Frank Darabont isn't directing the new Godzilla, he just wrote the script for it. British director Gareth Edwards is directing it. And from what I've heard it will be nothing like the Emmerich version, but more faithful to the original 1954 version in dark tone with nods to the whole Toho concept of Godzilla. In other words there may be other giant monsters present, especially to set up for possible sequels.

I hope that both Darabont and Edwards have paid close attention. I happen to see a clip of the new Godzilla. It looked pretty cool as opposed to the Iguana on steroids that ran from the military in the Emmerich film. Godzilla NEVER ran from the military. You fire at Godzilla, it was your ass. I still watch Emmerich's film because it had some moments. The question now is; will this Godzilla be the result of those nuclear tests in the Pacific(like in the Toho and Emmerich's Godzilla), or will it be something else?

It will be the cause of a big black dick gone wrong.

It's Godzilla, not Blackzilla. And that dude you were referring to has long since retired from porn.

He may have retired from porn, but his dick is making a cumback in the Godzilla reboot.

    Looks fun.

I really wish Nintendo would get out of the console business and concentrate on games, like Sega did. I would love to play their games, but The Wii and the 3DS just don't have enough 3rd party games to justify the purchase in my opinion.

 Errrr...the 3DS actually has a backlog of 3rd party software for your convenience. If you mean games which could be found on consoles, like FPSs, then perhaps you're looking at the wrong place.

Besides, Nintendo's better off keeping the games on their own consoles, otherwise, the quality of the games would suffer immensely. Sega started off decent when it went for the third party gaming bit, but since then, their track record has been fairly spotty and their iconic Sonic has been a hit and miss character for quite some time.

Let me re-phrase that. The 3DS has good games and a decent sized library, but most of the games are shovelware. The big 3rd party companies only ever offer half-assed games. Only Nintendo's in-house studios really come correct on the system.

The Wii U is a drain on Nintendo's profits. I wager if they dumped consoles (keep the 3DS) and started producing Zelda, Pokemon, Metroid, and Mario for the other systems, their profits would skyrocket.

    And I shall reiterate...

Contrary to the home-console populace, handheld systems are relatively strong, with the 3DS with a strong library of games, first and third party. It's just that the handheld market is more of a secondary thought for gamers to pick up and play, despite the heavy sales. People are more focused on what comes to consoles and have the same expectations as what would see as the equivalent to Call of Duty of GTA.

Also, it's true the Wii U is selling fairly sluggish, but so did the 3DS when it first was released. But there were some steps Nintendo took to make it sell more and yes, their first party games are their high sellers, so it would stand to reason that the Wii U will get the same treatment.

And lastly, the Nintendo games, and this maybe based on my personal nostalgia, but with some brevity of realism here, are meant to be on Nintendo consoles. It wouldn't work properly or as well if the developers were just going for bringing their games over to Sony and Microsoft. Even if they were to drop out of the console market, they would be better off just making handheld systems. Sega started off okay when it went third party, but the quality of their games suffered immensely.

Gal Gadot confirmed to be Wonder Woman

I'm going to continue to reserve judgment on the whole matter, but so far, I am not all that impressed with the whole development of this movie. As much as I enjoy DC superheroes and much respect to those who want to adapt them into live action movies, but as it stands now, I find it to be a muddled mess.

    http://movies.yahoo.com/blogs/movie...onder-woman-batman-vs-superman-174612957.html

And this actress playing the role? I never saw her acting credentials, so I'll hold my judgment on that. But as far as her appearance go, I don't think she really has the body type, let alone the appeal to don the suit of Wonder Woman. She may have action credentials in the form of the cheesy racing soap operas by the name of Fast & Furious series, but what more could be said?

Anyway, maybe this could be a good thing. Maybe not. Either way, I'll wait and see...

Ugh! They screwed the pooch on this casting. She is way to frail looking to be an amazon warrior.

Wonder Woman is strong and athletic. Why the hell couldn't they have cast Gina Carano or almost any other athletic actress.

She better pretty much move into a gym, if she is going to get in a "Wonder Woman" shape in time of principle shooting.

Umm ... She's served two years in the Israeli army. She could prolly kick the average fan boy's ass in real life. Plus, she's an avid motorcycle rider. I think she'll do fine.

I learned my lessons about casting with Keaton's Batman (still the best live action portrayal IMHO) and Tom Cruise's Lestat. Both of these actors where the exact opposite of what we would've wanted the character's to look like. But, in the end, they knocked it clear out of the stadium, past the parking lot and clear into the the next county over.

I'm adopting a wait and see attitude. She could be quite good in the role.

My ignorance was set aside when I read a bit of her early life and that alone would be some excellent credential. The only question is whether she can act. Well, if Chris Hemsworth and can put on some muscle for the role of Thor, I'm sure Gadot will be able to do the same, and perhaps pull off a great Wonder Woman.
