Well that's the only down part here. The guy is white.
There is a serious lack of black men in my area and all the dating sites I have been to.
I will still go out with him, because he seems to be a nice guy.

 

Ok. It is sad that there are not too many brothers in some areas in Germany especially ones who living in the country. Go outside the major stadts and they are very few.

 

Well, I wouldn't call Berlin "living in the country"
I think the problem is, that you really need to speak German to make it in Berlin.
Most Americans don't.
We have Africans, but they usually come as refugees and live of wellfare, or just have a visa for studying.
Some came here by marrying older white women just to get a visa.
I consider none of the above dating material (except for the students maybe).
Berlin has no Army posts, therefore whoever comes here, needs to find a job in the private economy.
Almost impossible if you don't speak the language.

 

I sincerely believe you. Plus,there are not too many Africans who speak German especially the ones from Namibia. They don't have much money.

 

Just an update: the date never happened.
The guy complained that I supposedly didn't show enough interest in him (even though I was the one who approached him at the concert).
I told him that he sent mixed messages himself, acting all cool and withdrawn.
He said he might have a rough exterior, but one has to "earn" his soft side.

Its hard, I mean god, I've been through my share of children masquerading as men (and not doing a very good job of it lol).
We just have to keep trying til we get someone thats actually worth spending time on! That goes for guys just as much as for girls of course.

 

I agree. I was wondering if the guy maybe had too many negative experiences with the wrong women which let to self esteem issues.
But damn, we probably all had our fair share of deception and heartache.

Oh god absolutely! I've been with one man in particular, and he was very much of the ''no woman will ever do this to me again...no woman will ever do that to me again'' mentality.
I was like ''get over it, move on with your bloody life!'' and partly thats why I got rid of him, I was sick of him painting me with the same brush as his ex.

Hey, I'm on my second divorce, this last time from a man that was a genuine lunatic lol. He did so many awful things to me over nine years, that maybe I could have ended up a real basket case, but he was the problem, not men in general, and I have never carried his behaviour with me since then.
Yes, men can be jerks, but so can women!
But I suppose I'm just an optimist lol. I want to be married and spend my life with someone, I can't help it, thats just the way I am.
I've made some awful choices, and made some awful decisions, but that was me, my choices, my decisions, I don't blame anyone else for them.

My current guy knows a lot of what I've been through, but I would never ever put him on trial to see if he did the same kinds of things!

Before 1918 the Germans had colonies in Africa and lost them after that year. Namibia was the only country where a few Germans live. Some of those tribes there learned German. Outside Namibia however most Africans don't learn German.

 

Maybe i didnt get you right, i thought you meant Africans in Germany dont speak German well. You right about Namibia but even in Namibia English is now the dominant language i doubt if 1% can even speak German
