post history and reading what is posted in a thread you are already in...I understand it's too much reading for you ms i'm so intelligent so you will just take TDK word for it...he can't comprehend either so the two of you are up a creek with no paddle...why did you even respond if you haven't read the posts?

you have turned out to be just as described yet sooooooooo much more...lmfao...showing your true colors

I don't tolerate racism...at all...but the other thing I don't tolerate is whining, bitching & complaining especially if you aren't willing to do anything about it...I don't know black men IRL that act like victims all the damn time...they just don't subscribe to it...this is an epidemic on this forum

where do you shop raider? I bet you anything every single store you shop in profiles...so I guess you won't be shopping there or anywhere anymore will you...because if you did that you would be tolerated racism and supporting those businesses that you so viciously appose...at some point you have to decide if you are going to be the victim...raise victims or figure out a way to make change

With all due respect, Lippy calls herself "Lippy" for a reason! Do not grapple, with a grappler! Do not kick, with a kickboxer. Do not get lippy, with a person who calls herself "Lippy"!

Lippy, I am not attempting to get "Lippy" with you.:smt009

She doesn't have to take my word for anything you are arguing for profiling in a thread about racially profiling nonwhite customers. You wrote your own ticket on this one.

lippy is actually a nickname...it used to be lipstick...but in the UK they call it lippy...so I changed it;)

no worries...we can agree to disagree...

The trouble is nobody wins! Egos have become involved, which means we all suffer. There is something good about everyone who contributes to this forum; yet, the wonderful qualities we have been endowed with are being overlooked and put aside. It is easy to continue greed, arrogance, and foolish pride. It is difficult and challenging to release that foolish pride, ego, and state an apology, and request forgiveness.

she can't read...or she can't find what you are talking about...i'm not a racist and there is no proof that I am a racist in this thread or anywhere else for that matter

btw, non white customers is more than just black people...yep profiling happens everywhere...at your grocery store, the stores you shop, your auto shop...your gas station...the restaurant you visit...on your street...around the corner...in the alley..at the park...at the zoo...at the museum...at the movie theater...OMG

I guess you will just have to stay home for the rest of your life to avoid any and all types of profiling...you must protest and vote with your dollars by not going anywhere

Its not about there are some people who are purely on here to obstruct. They enjoy chaos and choose to inject nonsense to stir shit up. Neither Paniro Lippy or Stumper made what anyone would call a rational argument. Its the same "quit having a victim mentality" speech that people who don't have to endure the treatment say or those too spineless to speak out against the power structure.

Usually nonwhite is purely black and Hispanics (African descent Hispanics at that) who they target.
Again look at what you're saying right in this post. So since it happens we should just except it and be ok with especially when they humiliate us when aren't doing any wrong. Do you have any idea what that does to the social psyche of this country? It perpetuates the stereotype that minorities are criminals "if they're the only ones being detained then they must be the only ones doing wrong"
If they want to stop everyone fine but if I were you I would be worried because shit like this is going to push a huge segment of consumership to online shopping which will mean less revenues at retail stores which means less hours or no job altogether for people who work there.

nope...you are not going to be able to shop online with these stores either because then you are still supporting their corporate headquarters...if you are serious about voting with your dollars then research will need to be done to who qualifies for your dollars...we used to go to wild wings all the time...but not since the article was posted about them refusing service...

case in point as to why it is so important to speak up if you feel an injustice has been done...

if I have to say it 100 times I will...whites get detained as well...you just don't read about it in the paper...they have no recourse...what are they going to say...he profiled me while shopping white...seriously? when I worked at neimans the majority of the shoplifters were wealthy white women..buy a little take a little...

IMO the idea of an arrest quota is a ridiculous idea. The goal should be to catch thieves; not to encourage "security" do whatever they think it takes to meet some quota, even to the point of targeting innocent people.

Yes, people of all races get targeted in these situations, but in general I've seen it happen to nonwhite people more often (including my son and others I know on a personal level). To believe someone's race or ethnicity makes a person more prone to stealing is ignorance and prejudice. The only thing that should be "profiled" is an individual's behavior, and not on their race, ethnicity, age, or gender.

I've had 20+ years of retail experience, most of which was management, and I have NEVER treated anyone in that manner, and I've NEVER tolerated that bullshit from my employees either. I made sure they were properly trained when it comes to recognizing and dealing with shoplifters, and none of that training involved teaching them to target people based on race, ethnicity, age, or gender.

I agree that security and theft prevention is important, but accusing and/or arresting innocent people doesn't accomplish that. Oftentimes there's so much focus on those who are assumed to be up to no good that those who truly are the problem aren't even noticed by the people who should be paying attention to them.

The funny thing that many people don't seem to understand or acknowledge is that most theft is NOT due to shoplifters; most retail theft is done by employees. Thieving vendors and other non-customers are another shrinkage issue.

Employees are also at fault in other types of inventory issues as well; a few examples are not ringing up sales correctly or not checking vendor deliveries in correctly, not tracking invoices/inventory/sales/etc. correctly; which could be due to mistakes, laziness, complacency, poor training, not giving a damn, heads in their asses, etc.

I've experienced the shitty treatment from asshole salespeople on many occasions, and I've witnessed many others be mistreated as well. I don't get the fucked up mentality of those who think that such rude and unprofessional behavior/attitude is acceptable, when they have no right or reason to behave that way.

The best thing to do IMO is spend your money where your business is actually appreciated, and quality customer service is a priority. Retailers who don't know how to show proper respect and appreciation for ALL of their customers aren't worthy of anyone's hard-earned money. Fuck them and their bullshit.

I am not stating you are challenging my endurance or courage. When I encounter any kind of racism/discrimination, I choose my battles carefully. Most of the time, I choose to do nothing, because I have more challenges to contend with. Also, I know I have a natural brawler's spirit and a natural quick temper, which means I RARELY ENGAGE IN ALTERCATIONS, POTENTIAL OR ACTUAL; VERBAL OR NON-VERBAL. Now that I know studied and trained in many forms of combat, I am required to overlook a lot of situations that have 'negatively affected me'.

Make no mistake, I am willing to suffer physical torture, permanent injury, and death for human rights and justice; however, I am not willing to die a "dogs death" in the process.

Nobody can stir anything in me, without my permission. Nine times out of ten, when I am angry, I have the problem, because I am loosing control of myself.

You are not the only martial artist on here. I get living a path of least resistance but if you accept the bushido code as part of your lifestyle then we are honor bound to confront injustice.

What are you talking about we can use amazon or ebay or other third party vendors no one has to shop directly from these stores anymore which speaks to an out of touch insanity a lot these stores have. Blacks in particular love to shop retail we spend more of our income on retail than any other group. Why alienate us?

I am NOT stating anything about the path of least resistance. Yes, we honor bound to confront injustice ON A LARGE SCALE OR FOR THE SAKE OF ANOTHER; yet, are you confronting injustice at the PROPER source or foundation? Can your energies be best served, in another arena?

"There is something to be learned from a rainstorm. When meeting with a sudden shower, you try not to get wet and run quickly along the road. But doing such things as passing under the eaves of houses, you still get wet. When you are resolved from the beginning, you will not be perplexed, though you still get the same soaking. This understanding extends to everything."
