By this video, we do not have a complete story. If the woman provoked the man, she deserves the response that occurred, in addition to being charged with assault. If the man initiated this violent action, then the man should be charged with assault.

This is disturbing, because it is a shame that our society has to this. Very rarely is violence the answer. This is why I do not drink and I socialize rarely in public places, because the risk is not worth the reward.

Well, the first act of violence we see is her kicking him while he's standing in the doorway. He hits her back. Honestly, that should have been the end of it right there. Why she decided to hit him again I have no idea. Never pick a fight with a person who looks like they can kick your ass. Ever.

It always bothers me when a man hits a woman but holy shit, look at how big that guy is! He has to damn near duck down to get out of the door! Thankfully he only hit her once; a lot of other people would have let it escalate to a point where an ambulance had to be called. I just hope that she wasn't injured too severely.

If I were in his shoes I would have just walked away after the first time she kicked me. If I were in her shoes? I never would have laid a hand on him to begin with, seeing as how that guy is literally twice her size and probably three times her strength.

    Thank you for your response.

In nine out of ten situations, the above statement is true.

It appears the tall gentleman is performing some type of security, in the video; therefore, I do not believe walking away was an option. The young lady who was punched through the window is attempting to gain entry, in the video. Maybe the young lady should have deescalated the situation by walking away, because it appears she did not require entry to the establishment.

I have performed security at a club; I was never attacked by a woman, during that time. If I were to be attacked by a woman or man, my response would be the same for a man or woman.

I think they're both idiots, but I have no sympathy for the girl. She was a fool for kicking him, and an even bigger fool for hitting him after he'd already popped her in the face. Did the dummy actually think he wouldn't hit her again?

This is sad, in so many ways.

Even though that girl shouldn't have kicked him (and started the violence). That "golly green giant" is clearly disproportionately stronger then her. Did you see how easily he knocked her through that window. He should have exercised restraint. The rules are different when you are bigger and stronger.

That disproportionate strength is why she never should have touched him in the first place. And it's like Tam said, he'd already popped her once and you could tell that he was holding back when he did it...and yet she still hit him again! You could tell he was holding back in that second punch, too. If he'd hit her with all of his strength she would have been laid out flat on her back.

On the other hand, I'm a bit biased. I don't pick fights with anyone, regardless of size or gender. That kind of behavior is plain immature and irresponsible.

never pick a fight with anyone, period

The lady prolly didn't think the guy would be so violent exactly because he's a big male and she's a little lady. Just goes to show you, you never know what can happen

I think the damage done to the window made this look more dramatic than what it was.

It's unfortunate they put attacked other, yes. But the shattered window made it look more chaotic than what it probably would have been in this exchange of blows.
