The unfortunate part is that nothing is likely to ever come of it. :(

His loss. Leaving the door open for some other lucky guy. BTW, I spent a week in Chicago last July. First time. I was there on business but I was able to enjoy the town. Mrs. Nose and I went to Mike Ditka's and took a downtown Chicago bike tour. I see why you love it...we'll definitely be back!

Chicago is a beautiful city with tons to see. I would suggest taking an architectural boat tour. I hear it's great. And yes, you read that right - I've lived near this city my entire life and have never taken the architectural tour. LOL. I do plan on rectifying that at some point.

But, if you don't live here (it's ridiculously expensive), it's a great city. And the lakefront is awesome, as are all of our museums.. :smt023

That's the way it is a lot of times. Never see stuff right under your nose. A lot of people in my company opted for the boat tour and they all liked it. Mrs. Nose and I really enjoyed the bike tour because it was right smack downtown with people walking the streets and the tour guide gave a lot of good local history of the fire and rebuilding and showed interesting sights such as the original Playboy Mansion and some of the earliest skyscrapers. Plus we were able to burn off some of that delicious Chicago food we were being fed.

I have never visited ground zero or been to the statue of liberty nor been the museum of modern art or the Guggenheim. I'm actually more inclined to visit tourist attractions in other cities.

I hope that Chicago style pizza was on the menu. If not, you must seek out Lou Malnati's or Giordano's the next time you're here.

I can't believe you've never visited those things when you live right there. LOL. I'd definitely visit the museums and Statue of Liberty a lot if I lived there. I visit the museums here quite a bit. I can't afford to travel much, so I have to take advantage of cultural attractions where I can. :smt023

I'm still around. I just don't have a computer to use right now. And my gorgeous husband is now in Australia with me, so I'm a bit distracted. Hehehe!
