I am sure this term was formed by a dude who wanted to have sex with a beautiful woman but not commit, i might be wrong though. With the way men are configured most of them will not catch feelings like women cus sex means more to most women than men

We can be friends with "benefits" but I don't want sex, only credit cards, food stamps, bitcoins and change for my goddamn laundry.

Friends with benefits for me always starts with a female friend getting so comfortable with me, that they don't care and want some sexual satisfaction, like i'm a toy or something which is cool with me, but then they end up getting emotional and I have to remind them whose idea it was.

I find it works best for me with ex girlfriends. The relationship didn't work but they love the way I put it down so the late night desperate texts come in. Like I'm on call or something.

I had to google it. Clearly I'm not ready for the future.

Agreed, it works great with ex's from shorter term relationships IMO. You already have that comfort level with them, you know you have a good time together, and there's no pressure about someone "wanting more" because you already went that route and it just didn't work out. Ex's are fabulous fwb :smt023

The right people, meaning people that are open and receptive to such a relationship, correct?

Yes sir. It doesn't have to work for everyone, it just has to work for the two people involved.

Friends with benefits is only a good idea if you are getting ready to ditch your friend anyway, and you want a nice goodbye memory, because it will end badly.

Friends with benefits is a good idea, especially if two people know they are just having sex.

for the women: are you telling me if morris chesnut or prince wanted to have sex a few times and you two go your separate ways you would say no?

for the men: are you telling me if charlize theron or kate upton wanted to have sex a few times and you two go your separate ways you would say no?

if you said no because you don't like the people i listed, put someone you do like in there and ask yourself the question. if you would deny this celebrity of the pleasure to have sex with you due to the fact your brain is wired the way it is. then so be it.

for those of you who wouldn't, i can bet $100 you've never had a one night stand more than twice in your life.

I would not. Because I would want more. More that I couldn't have. I can't seperate feelings and sex. So why strike the match? And you're right about the one-night stands.

The thing is majority of people don't fuck and move on, they stick to what's familiar.

i thought i was the only one who thought this way.

so then you would tell morris no. got it!

:smt017 you have a point and i think things maybe different over here in the wild wild west.

sounds like you've never had a one night stand. I'm not saying anything is wrong with that, just an observation.

While Morris is attractive, he's not someone who floats my boat. Sorry!

ok then.... who ever does float your boat... your still saying because you cant control your emotions you would tell them no to a few days of good sex?

Not saying the idea doesn't sound exciting, but if I did it, I think I'd have regrets. I want sex to be meaningful. :smt102
