Umm....dude....why are you so hell bent on trying to legitimatize some ignorant bullshit? "You're not a teen you don't hang out where they do". Really?? Really??? And you do I suppose? I have two in junior high that participate in various activities & hang out with older teens already. You seriously think I don't monitor what kids are doing & what they get into?? Seriously??

And you think they show you how they really are? Seriously??
I am not a teen but I remember what it was like to be one and I remember kids wearing "offensive" t-shirts ALL THE TIME behind their parents backs. Girls who would wear sexually provocative things for guys' attention and quickly change in some bathroom before they had to go home. I grew up in the suburbs and this shit was as common as big macs at McDonalds.
I'm not trying to legitimatize anything just giving a different perspective. That's still allowed right?

Dude make up your mind. First you're in here pumping this shit up like it's the new "in" fad among teens today and now you're trying to spin the shit as if no one else here besides yourself was ever a teenager & we don't know the backhanded & sneaky things that teenagers do or try to get away with.

Different perspective? Fine. Whatever. It still doesn't change the fact that anyone wearing a shit like that would be seen as ignorant more than being rebellious & the the shirt itself would be viewed more as offensive than not.

Why should it be offensive when the popular sentiment supports the language. Or does her being white restrict her to different rules. We can't want a life where we all get along but demand some words are ok for some but not all. Within her peer group that may very well be ok or maybe its a spoof shirt but if you choose to be offended I get where you're coming from I just don't agree.

Then we'll stay divided I guess. There's nothing I can say to friends and significant others that they can't say to me

Did you REALLY just say that?????? I swear, TDK, you will find the most controversial side of any conversation and stick to it like a dog with a bone. You know damn well that we absolutely live in a world where white people are restricted to different rules and you have pointed that out in other conversations. *smdh*

lippy no likey...let's not get it twisted I am not always PC...but on this issue I have very little tolerance...

condoning this behavior would not be an example of black men lifting each other up...hence holding each other down...be the solution instead of the problem...each and every one of you can be a leader in your own way...

you are missing the point. You "fixed" TDK's comment. Why did you do that?

I'm gald to see that you know the difference between politically incorrect and correct when it comes to someone else being "political incorrect" towards women but you never really got that towards black men. seems a bit bias or you are simply not understanding it. I don't have a problem with the message as you may not have a problem with TDK's but blame the right group. just like you fixed his comment. I should have fixed yours.

so are you telling me it went over your head:confused: I changed his comment from women to rebellious teenagers...I don't know many self respecting women that would allow any man to call them a whore bitch and not find themselves sleeping on the chaise out on the back patio...I doubt his dealings are with WOMEN

Different strokes for different folks I suppose. Some like crude talk like that...others like things that some would find shocking and offensive. You yourself have hinted about an unusual practice that you enjoy.

again you missed my point. You are right to change it but you did the same to black men in that other thread. He clearly was wrong as you were in that other thread. It wasn't that he was politically incorrect. It seems like you have no problems correcting his but fail to see in your fallacy of doing the same thing to black men.

I invite both you and Ches to post pics of your current significant other. The forum has seen mine. I await your response yet I doubt it will yield much fruit.
