Wish they would have gotten someone more exotic looking. Little too all American. But, throw in a box of hair dye and it could work, I guess.
Don't know if they are even playing her as European in this take much less if she will even be a mutant since Fox Studios still has the rights for all of the X-Men/mutant characters.
^^^^i was just typing the same thing ^^^^^ Wish they would have given him a better outfit. I think this is a case of too much realism. Looks like a black Wolverine wannabe. Everyone else gets a decent outfit. But, they give the brother some B.S.. ...lol Too bad Micheal Jai White can't get beyond bit player and straight to DVD fare. He could be a big action star with the right vehicle. He could headline a Riddick or Machete type of movie. I hear they're rebooting,"Blade." He'd be great as the day walker.
I used to read The Suicide Squad back in the late 80's. I remember The Bronze Tiger admitting that he was beaten by Batman twice. Now, instead of a reformed criminal, he(and the rest of the squad) is back to being a villain again. He didn't swirl.
Fox Studio still has the movie rights to all of the X-Men related characters for movie purposes only because they had them prior to Disney buying Marvel. If X-Men : First Class had bombed like X-Men 3 & X-Men Origins : Wolverine, then that may have been a way for Disney/Marvel Studios to negotiate to bring the movie rights under the Marvel Studios banner. But don't see that happening anytime soon with The Wolverine movie doing far better than X-Men Origins :Wolverine and X-Men : Days of Future Past coming up. Same with Spider-Man over at Sony Pictures.
Michael Jai White is currently on some show produced by Tyler Perry's Studio. If he were to do a Blade reboot, please do not let it be like the one that was shown on TNT. That one sucked. I mean really sucked. The actor didn't even look like Wesley Snipes and the weaponry could've been better.
The handful of episodes that I've watched of the first season of Arrow everyone's "costumes" were on the real world side of things. They had characters like Deathstroke & Deadshot on the episodes I saw and other than the trade mark mask for Deathstroke (which he didn't even actually wear) & a some generic looking targeting eyepiece for Deadshot, both wore standard tactical style uniforms with tactical gear & weapons.
Yeah, looking back, you're right. I was mainly thinking of Green Arrow (I refuse to call him The Hood or just Arrow) and The Dark Archer.
Not being the biggest DC fan, I don't know how/why/when Wonder Woman became able to fly without her invisible jet.
She doesn't actually fly but glides on wind currents, which is why she has the invisible jet for speedier & long distance travel. And she didn't do the whole gliding on the wind thing until the original big DC reboot back in the mid-late 1980's.
