Psst. You do realize that you & other like minded "intellectuals" are basically playing the uppity negro version of "You're Not Really Black" right? Instead of using the standard "hood" mentality crap to marginalize who black people are you're going to the opposite extreme. I've been told straight up by two different black males on this very forum that because I basically don't share their "intellectual views points" that "black men like me" are the reason the black community is failing. :smt107

Lets move away from intellectual viewpoints for a sec. The focus here is how the economy is responding for African Americans. It can be looked at through unemployment for instance. Black unemployment is higher than white unemployment. Part of the reason of why that is lies at the fault of the black community. I also believe that unemployment is a precursor to crime and other problems that have occurred in society. As you saw from that Wikipedia site, Asians are actually above Whites in terms of net worth, jobs, etc. If blacks as a race were on par with the Asians, our unemployment rate would be half of what it currently is today, despite the economic conditions.

The black community needs to reform its message towards intellectualism. We also need to not have black supremacy groups around because that is part of the problem too.

Ummm.....No. Don't start thinking that you and I are having an actual debate on the black community, because we aren't. Again, let me remind you my only interest in even having the current back forth with you to begin with was to gain insight into your negative & non productive viewpoints in regards to the black community.

If the black community was designed a whole lot better than it currently is now, I wouldn't have complained. There wouldn't be a need for anyone to complain.

Who "designed" the black community??

America as a whole is currently fucked up, but yet as always the black community is the community that must some how find a way to be better than everyone else in America?? Worry about fixing "America" as a whole & many of the problems in the black community would be addressed a whole lot better. SMDH.
