The other day I was doing work in my yard. My neighbor was looking at the overgrown bushes on her house. I decided to cut them for her. I guess that's a random act of kindness. Lol

GOSH, ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS! Great contribution, BD! :)

One of the best kind! Take it from a woman who gets wretched POISON IVY every single time I do my garden weeds and grass, that this year, I had to stop doing it.
In stepped my neighbor who does it for me, because he's seen first hand how much I suffer. Fabulous act of kindness, Stizzy! :smt023

This is astounding! Millions of lives SAVED, when so many are being taken otherwise. I never even heard of this incredible man who took his gift a million steps beyond! You bring some amazing stuff, BD.

Aww TY, Unique!! for the full audio effect of the gif. :smt060

When I think back to that loser man who beat to death that poor baby raccoon in the dumpster, and here are these wonderful kind-hearts who go out of their way to help baby bears! :smt057

    You are welcome.
As long as there are still people like them and us, I guess there is still hope.

Glad you ladies liked the gif. :smt003

I'm happy I could bring this man's good deed to your attention. He deserves the recognition for donating his rare blood. The contribution he has made to society is invaluable. I feel everybody should know his name and what he has done to save the lives of unborn babies. And thanks for the luv B. Appreciate it. :)

I mow my next door neighbours grass as she has mental issues and the old guys in the corner of our cul-de-sac I had to buy myself a 20 mtr lead. Thank god they don't have hedges like Stizzy's neighbours.

You're so welcome, BD. You deserve it.

Buggy, you are the best. Mowing for not one, but two. I just love your spunk. Your kindness to do that for your neighbours. You and Stizz represent what good neighbouring is all about. :freehug:

Yes, that dry cleaner is so kind to do that! Especially in this tight profit-margin economy. Great heart!

That wallet letter reminds me of a question I like to ask people... If you found a wallet (like that man did) what would you do? I'm often surprised at people's answers, lol...

BTW, I also had a man find my cell phone that I lost at the Army Navy football game.
    This is what he did...
He called HIS cell phone with my phone, called the number that came up and left me a voicemail that if I'm checking my VM's, he found my phone and to call him. He lived in Delaware and was up here for the game that day, so I could not pick it up from him.
So he took time out of his busy day to go to the post office and paid to mail it to me. I sent him back a check for his expenses/trouble and to thank him.

Unique’s post reminded me of incidences where I have also returned cell phones and wallets, and once found a lost Corporate CC in a BJ’s parking lot.

When I tracked down the name on it, turns out it belonged to a Catholic Nunnery. So when the nun came by to pick it up, my BFF whose house I was staying at that weekend, also gave her a huge trash bag of toiletries (she’s a flight Attendant and collects the unused leftover toiletries from the plane to donate to abused women shelters.)
Well the nun was just so overwhelmed she gave us both a BLESSING at the door. :smt059
She told us they will be used by pregnant homeless teens whom temporarily lodge to have their babies.

Does anyone else have a return story?

I remember that story. Absolutely heartbreaking...killed by a young man whom the officer assumed needed help. Senseless.

So heartwarming though to see these good deeds recognized. Something as simple as buying a kid 3 cookies for $1. It honestly doesn't take much, it's the thought that means more and has a greater impact than the dollar amount spent.

Right, it happened in San Diego. Thanks for the back story. It did not mention his killer's deets.

Yeah, the kid was his last connection to human sweetness, before encountering an evil loser outside.

^^^May that cop rest in peace

Former Marine Wen Jones, paid a high price for being a good Samaritan — the pack of 20-year-olds jumped on him and beat him savagely.

    Glad you posted this, BD!
I had read about this story....he also helped the young boy's father, who was with his skateboarding son, and whom wants to personally thank him for stepping in.

    The bullied teen...

His hero, WEN JONES, in better health...

    The 3 aggressors...

This punk ^did the most damage to 41 yr old Wen Jones in the beating

The sad reality is they were bullying this child all day and calling him racist names. This was a 14 year old kid...and his tormentors were all 20.

Here is the extended story of how Mr Jones stepped in to stop them, when they turned their anger on him...
