obviously this is a ww/bm forum...the majority of the crime articles we post, talk or debate about include black on black crime or black on white crime... Is it getting to be too much? should we be selecting articles based on race? is it enlightening? do you learn anything? if you were on the outside looking in you might think that all crime in America is at the hands of a bm...I don't think that is true but I watch all the news not just what is posted here I learn quite a bit reading through the responses and recently I sense from quite a few of the bm that post here that it portrays all bm in a negative light
That tends to be the overwhelming majority of news content posted on this site. Murder, for example, is immediate and simple to understand unlike a civil war in the Middle East or wage stagnation. It also represents a type of ultimate wrongdoing as the potential for redress to the victim is nil to nonexistent. Low calorie news broadcasts teach so much about how to think of the world with almost none of it being informative or helpful.
I've only noticed a handful of men here who consistently paint bm in a negative light, but it's completely nauseating. They're hand picking which news pieces to share, trying to push their opinions down the throats of everyone else. Fact remains that for every story they pull showcasing a black offender, we could pull 5 others with offenders of other races, if we chose to play at their level. It's unnecessary though because the majority of people here aren't fooled by the few who like to speak negatively about bm.
I post articles I find interesting enough to share. I don't see the black crime agenda you speak of but their is a anti police agenda. I play a huge part.
I don't see an agenda...I just think that because this is a ww/bm site it is pretty normal to post threads about bm...it would be silly to report every crime a wm commits...we would be flooded with news stories... I have always thought if it's in the news then it presents an opportunity for a conversation...how you spin the conversation is entirely up to you I use news stories to start conversations with my son all the time...mainly because I feel that todays youth feels for the most part that they are invincible...we took the trayvon martin shooting and talked to him and his friends about if there was anything that trayvon could have done differently...how to handle a situation if presented...we live in the city and what happened could just as easily happened to him or one of his friends
lol...I do that as well...the you know this isn't real right...you can't shoot people and they don't come back to life kind of talks
I suck as a parent, my yelling at him consists of him taking videogames more seriously, not life. I need to take after you more. I never spoke to him about the trayvon incident because luck runs thru my family. His biggest downfall would be himself. Your an excellent parent.
