There's something wrong here when doing the right thing results in negative consequences. When people talk about karma, I need to slap them with a leftover fishbone and show this article to everyone for believing in such crap.
This is ridiculous. On the upside her getting fired wasn't in vain, a man was proven innocent because of her and she should be proud of herself for that. Shame on the person who fired her though.
This is why people have to be careful on doing the right thing. You have to do it discretely because at the end of the day..... You can't buy food or pay your bills on the right thing.
i believe the "officials" were embarrassed about getting the wrong man and may have to pay restitution.
