On the beaches of Kenya they’re known as “Sugar Mamas”
European women who seek out African boys selling love
to earn a living. Teresa, a 50-year-old Austrian and mother
of a daughter entering puberty, travels to this vacation paradise.
She goes from one Beach Boy to the next, from one disappointment
to the next and finally she must recognize: On the beaches of Kenya
    love is a business.

How are these women any different from the men who fly to Thailand and the Philippines for sex?

Why aren't the bleeding heart activists condemning this kind of sexual exploitation?

It also happens in the Carribean. It is a double-standard for women. Some cruise lines offer "cougar cruises" since most of these passengers are women. Men are different in terms of their hedonistic pleasures abroad. The media just exposes the activities in those countries. And the men are often discovered partaking in their establishments. Women traveling alone are not found in pleasure districts. I'd like to go to Thailand one day, but it is not for the sex tourism. There are other places in Thailand than Bangkok's Pattaya district. Look at any youtube video about Pattaya and what do you see? A lot of foreign men going into massage parlors, strip clubs and bars. Not many foreign women are there unless they are working in Pattaya. Throw in the military(off-duty servicemen) and you know that there is a relationship present. Pleasure has a price. As for the movie, I might check it out. There was a film a couple of years back called Gone South with actress Charlotte Rampling(Swimming Pool) who has a brief romance with a Jamaican guy.

Old, and unattractive members of the opposite sex looking for a man in Kenya to offer citizenship, and money to? Honestly all people involved know what they are doing, and I do not blame the Kenyan men for doing it. Seeing the state of many countries I would have an affair with an older women just to get out. This is yes the same as rich men going to Thailand or Russia, and other parts of Eastern Europe.

Honestly I cant really condemn this as no one is really being forced. What two consenting adults do really isn't anyones business. I think condemning this practice is pointless.

Not just African men but Caribbean men as well. To those brothers the money they gave them makes up for that intercourse. They seldom love those men since they are going to experience a stereotypical fantasy. Has anyone on that Black country or island seen any children from those dalliences? No. I doubt those sons or daughters of those brothers go to school in those European countries.

Of course, you remember the author of How Stella Got her Groove Back(I can't remember if it was Terry McMillan or Toni Morrison). She married a younger man from the Caribbean, only to find out that he was gay and he married her to get citizenship.
