Here's the Flag-Crazy Senate Intern Email Everyone in D.C. is Reading[/SIZE]

Byron Thomas, a patriotic young man from "the extremely beautiful state of South Carolina" loves flags. He loves Confederate flags, like the one he hung in his room at the University of South Carolina despite protests from other students. He loves American flags, like the ones that decorate the office of his state's Republican United States Senator Tim Scott, where he has been an intern for eight days.

Sadly, not everyone shows flags as much love as Byron Thomas does. No one else in his office, representing the extremely beautiful state of South Carolina, even says the Pledge of Allegiance before work every day, like he does.

Byron Thomas is reaching out to change this. So he sent out an email this morning, inviting staff and fellow interns to a cool flag party happening every day before 9 a.m.

All will bow to the flag. And Byron Thomas, mistress to the stars (and bars) and stripes, will rule. And please invite him to your events, if you have any.

(Judging by his apparently earnest pro-slavery Facebook and Twitter accounts, it's possible Byron Thomas is a late '80s Saturday Night Live sketch that has crossed the membrane into real life.)

You know.... a lot of people still hold a grudge over slavery in America. Everyone knows slavery is wrong and was wrong. But where would I be if slavery didn't happen in this country that I love so much. The United States of America is my home and future. People feel we deserve an apology, but what will an apology really do? You and I didn't pick anything or do hard labor against our will. That was the past and if anything, they deserved it, not us. I don't know one white person today, that would love to own a slave.

    FROM HIS TWITTER:
[IMG] Byron, Byron Thomas ?<s>@</s>ByronThomas7 I look at the positives in life. So if slavery never happened in the United States of America, I wouldn't be here today. I love the USA!

Homeboy has some mental issues and he is not the only one. H.K.Edgerton the former NAACP president in Asheville,NC dresses in Confederate uniform. No doubt homeboy thinks he is Nipper from the comic strip Wee Pals.

    Clueless.

Someone remind this Uncle-in-training that if there had never been slavery, his people would have emigrated to this country like all the other immigrants who populate the American melting pot.

Negroes like this will never become extinct. Just when you think you've seen the last one, another pops up like a mushroom.:smt043

I'm not sure what to diagnose this young man with. Some kind of advanced Stockholm syndrome maybe?

I've always said, if you're a black dumbfuck there are 2 ways to go: You can be the stereotype "gangsta" know-nothing propping up the race equation that way, or you can turn into an "thomas" who's ashamed of being black, and prop up the race equation that way.

They may not know it, and they'd probably deny it, but those two types are a reflection of one another.

ROFL. So he's a Deputy Uncle? Lol. This kid's fixation on this flag thing seems surreal, almost like a publicity stunt.

  12. That ain't his chick. Pretty sure he soft shoe it for all the racist white girls in h the "great" state of South Carolina but he's still a nigger at the end of the day to'em. What a Sambo.

They probably roleplay "Massa" together where she's the housewife of the white husband and she's the slave.

I would dub it, Plantation Woes.

Funny, there was a children's story called Little Brave Sambo. Little Brave Sambo was a tiger cub who went out wearing new clothes. A Laurel & Hardy film had Stan and Ollie as escaped prisoners from the chain gang. They put on black shoe polish to mask themselves as black and hide in the small black farming community to avoid capture from the law. Ollie sings a song with the black family. Stan suddenly says afterward,"C'mon, Ollie... I mean, Sambo." And then there was a restaurant called Sambo's. My family ate there once. The food was good there. Then it was later that I recalled that the restaurant was under fire because of the name. Sambo's was subsequently closed down. And now, there is a brutal Russian martial art called Sambo. So, the name Sambo is almost as common as the n-word.
