Oh for the love of a blasted fuck.

    Bliss, honey?
Contact the webie person and have him rename this thread to " Trayvon Martin commits suicide in Florida neighborhood. Goes through trial and is found guilty. Sentenced to death"

    Jesus fuck paniro

What the fuck is wrong with you?

    For Christ sakes..
This child WAS HUNTED DOWN and then shot when he DEFENDED HIMSELF FROM POOR DEFENSELESS CRACKERJACK ASSHOLE ZIMMERMAN.

HOW IS THAT SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND?

You must be doing this for attention.
Even stupid people aren't THAT stupid.

Never mind the fantastic tale.....It is a reality every day on the streets of the America...Don't evade the question......Would you do what it takes as a man to save you own ass Ra.....or would you start crying for the assailant to stop.....

Maybe he'll listen to you because he sure didn't when I basically said the same thing up post.

The difference being Arch, "I" would not have profiled and stalked a teenager, and initiated a confrontation, in direct defiance of police orders. A neighborhood watch is designed to observe and report suspicious behavior, not intervene themselves. Lastly trust me, I all else fails and I am in a physical fight with someone, "they" will be the ones suffering, not me.

Arch are you over compensating because you're not from the US?

Like you sir, I'm smart enough not to get into said situations. But on the rare occasions when I was younger and found myself in not so safe instances with other individuals, I did what was necessary to protect myself. We're having this conversation now so it work out for my ass just fine. Any more questions? Or was this not a satisfactory answer?

What's interesting is most of the bm identify with the person who was killed yet those who identify with the killer don't seem to have much love for black people at all. Interesting indeed.

This is exactly the way I thought about it and I never understood why involuntary manslaughter was not on the table. That would have stuck, I think.

Damn. He wasn't born in the US? That would explain a whole lot then.

FG, my understanding is that manslaughter was considered, but again with no credible eye witnesses for the prosecution, and the limited forensic evidence, the prosecution could not meet the elements for that lesser charge either.

I just can't wrap my head around that, seems to be plenty for involuntary manslaughter, looking at other successful involuntary manslaughter cases.

    Just sad.

Let us move past the profiling, and past the stalking and past the assailants age....Let us put our selves at the moment of truth, he is sitting on your chest and handling his business.............
Loki, at least your have the courage, honesty and candor to answer the question.....It is not a hard question..
This story and the trial has been very bad for the country and race relations.... and even though, I had my opinions during the trial, with passions so sensitive on both sides, I felt there was never a place or time to gloat......there is sadness on all sides.
I personally however, never digressed in my focus from that moment of truth....what would I do on my back and at the bottom under an assault.....The forum brothers are all over the place with peripheral arguments, conditions and circumstances but they will not address that question head-on......they will not personalize the dilemma...

Because he did not know that he had a gun. I promise you, unless the dude is much bigger than me, is with a group, or shows me that he has a weapon, I would absolutely 'stand my ground' as well.

Furthermore, if the defense is correct and GZ was 'defending himself' then it appears that Trayvon was justified in not running.,. he was doing just fine in defending himself.... well, up until his legally justified shooting by the person who stalked him in the first place.

..My mom is Caribbean, but I was born in East Orange New Jersey....what does that explain..

It would explain your over the top negative depictions & perceptions of black people.

This right here makes me agree with the anti-gun advocates.

GZ should have taken that ass whipping like a man. I'm sure in your version of the story, GZ approached Trayvon all calm and respectfully and Trayvon just snapped and unjustifiably began to beat him. If we are now giving those who provoke an altercation an easy out because as soon as they begin to get their asses whipped they pull a gun, then yeah.,. we are better off without guns.

OR, can you imagine if the gun toting thug Trayvon (as the GZ supporters like to paint him) had a gun and defended himself from GZ? How many years would he be facing today?

Do you honestly think that anyone of us here won't do what was necessary to save our own lives or the lives of our loved ones if we found ourselves being viciously assaulted by another person?

Let him be he'll find out he's black soon enough especially living in Florida.
If he wants to pretend that if shit went down he'd be treated fairly let him.
