Essence did a survey of who readers thought were the most attractive men by category and the Rock won with either 400 votes or the survey was 4000? Idk Anyway…what was interesting was the backlash by black women against Essence for giving The Rock Dwayne Johnson the Cover. The main argument used against having him on the cover were claims that while he is half black, he has never been seen dating a black woman, so why would they put him on the premier magazine designed for black women? There were black women that defended Essence for giving him the cover but it seemd the consensus that it was not a welcome site. Made me think of myself and the men on here. While I love to hear all sides….men (since most of you I imagine are black or mixed) are you somewhat ostracized or ignored by other blacks when you speak on or off issues in the black community….do you often get the sense of….”sense he prefers white women he does not belong in serious roles in our community:?
Not at all. There are a lot of people who knows that I prefer to date white women or assume that based on my interactions with the majority females I am associated with, but they do enjoy my perspective on things regarding what goes on the black community. It's sort of like the mini-UN around here and I'm sometimes referred to as the Adjunct Primus Inter Pares in some respects because of the way how I express myself.
You should see me when I gracefully dive into the realm of lust and discord. I'm quite the wild child there.
Think of it like this: What happens when you post a chick who doesn't "do" brothas, on this forum? I can understand their complaints against him being on the cover
No, I meant it literally....because of your obsession with..oh nevermind. Ok, keep it at the other meaning, I'm also fine with that..
You just gave me an idea. :smt080 I still have your photos...and been meaning to do some photoshopping! Thank you sweetheart!!! :freehug:
You'll have to find me first. It's like playing with a kettle on the orbiting teapot. Besides, I never said I'll post them. I'll keep them for myself as part of my art. :smt047
Well if you want to be creepy like that. I was making a lighthearted joke about your love of the rectum. However since you have taken it far beyond that with an implied threat, I am formally telling you, if you alter or reproduce any of my images that I own without my expressed permission, I will sue you.
Seriously? That'd be hilarious to sue somebody solely because they've saved images on the internet. Unless if there's some copyright infringement (which you don't have), then there is no way you can sue. Plain and simple. You can try all the legal language and jargon, but all that is moot. Besides, had that been the case, then a lot of snapshots and photos taken by various people would have been resolved a decade ago and the function to save images through official sources like Google, Mozilla, etc...would have been nonexistent.
I'm Order and Discord all wrapped into one. I can switch between one or the other...and mesh it together for a delicious, frothy mixture of sanity.
The funny thing is that Dwyane's wife's family was racist to him according to him. He is pretty ..... african american cultured guy. I didn't expect for him to be on there seeing how it is a women's magazine.
