The latest news/rumor regarding Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy movie is that the identities of the three villains of the movie to be played by Benicio Del Toro, Lee Pace & Karen Gillan have been confirmed. Benicio del Toro will reportedly play one of the Elders of the Universe, The Collector, Lee Pace is playing the Kree Grand Accuser/Judge, Ronan The Accuser & Karen Gillan will be playing Nebula, an infamous cosmic pirate feared due to her claim to be the granddaughter of Thanos.

Actress Summer Glau is joining the cast of Arrow next season. So Arrow is probably getting canceled next season.

I remember when the pilot movie came out, Tom Cruise did the voice of Captain Planet. Another actor continued when the series got picked up.

Beware the batman is ok. I got so use to a team that I missed just one guy. I don't like alfred though. Of course, I'm already waiting for robin to make an appearance. It isn't batman without Mr. J though.

 

Yeah. It was OK. Better than I though it would be. For now anyway. I liked them throwing in Simon Stagg & Michael Holt, characters that diehard comic fans would recognize. Obviously Holt isn't Mister Terrific in this animated take. Now that would be cool to have him decide to become Mister Terrific later in the series based on what happen in that episode.

I saw this and I can not began to tell you how marvel has ruined my favorite character. I bet bishop again gets ruined for me. I was introduced to the character from the x-men the animated movie but house of M was not cool.

I'll wait until they have a full scale design & not just a head. Especially when that head might not even be the final design that makes it into the movie.

 

Bishop looks pretty authentic. even has the "M".

 

Godzilla will be 60 next year. Toho studios had retired him and sold the rights to this country. As a die-hard kaiju eiga(monster movie) fan, I am curious as to how Godzilla will look. The 1998 Godzilla(as most fans will call GINO, or Godzilla In Name Only) did not, really honor Godzilla. Granted, it was an American incarnation and it had some moments. If it was simply a remake of The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms, it would've worked well. But the Japanese were not amused and five more Godzilla films were made(in Godzilla: Final Wars, Godzilla made short work of the 1998 Godzilla). But, we shall see how well the people on this project has done their homework.
