A web photo gallery called We Are The 15 Percent was formed to celebrate IR families. It was meant as a response to the nastiness that was spewed about IR families, because of the now famous Cheerios ad. http://wearethe15percent.com/ (A small sample of the pictures)
Another forum member sent me the link to this yesterday. So beautuful! Thanks for posting it here, Thump!
I don't care what the speculators have to say about you,.....You have a fruitful discourse and you are positive contributor to this forum.... these images helped to warm my heart this morning...Good Post !..........
Ha ha, LOVE this family from the link. Looks like these Redskins fans are at the Eagles Linc! Best mix of IR & teams right there!
Baby girl is an exact copy of her daddy!! Soooo cute! My kids are the same way, my daughter is literally a mini-me and my baby boy is his daddy's twin! Loving all the pics in this thread!
These are nice pics, nice looking families and really cute moms too. They offer a counterbalance to society's common image of interracial families. Amazing too how many arabs and "hispanics" (and even spaniards) look just like those kids, but hold a spiritual grudge against "the black man". I hope their long-suffering ancestors line up and spit in their faces at the gates of heaven, before popping the trapdoor to the chute that slides them into hell. Pardon for interjecting negative thoughts into such an otherwise positive thread, but I couldn't resist the teaching moment.
Ditto.... I went and took a look at the link and the photos are just so beautiful to see. Every happy family pic made me go arrrrhhhhhhhhhh..... Such a warm and fuzzy feeling.
Fail because the controversy wasnt simply about IR couples it was specifically about a bm with a ww like always. Had the commercial featured this family you would barely hear a peep.
I guess this is like the old laundry detergent commercials(like Surf)that feature homemade commercials from real families and why they love the product. I say keep these commercials coming. I guess if controversy were to come, it would be a Cheerios commercial that features a younger interracial couple(bm/ww)without children having breakfast together(or the bm serving his wife Cheerios to the woman in bed as it had been done in earlier commercials featuring a white couple).
LOL....oh Lawd, could you imagine? If a WW mother not even in the same room as the BM father can invoke such controversy, imagine what commentary a WW in bed, and a BM serving her Cheerios - for breakfast no less - would garner.
