I've came to the conclusion that you are our resident Icon from the DC Comics. And don't fret...it's actually a compliment.

I'm not a role model either. I just give a fuck about my own people and do my small part to show it when possible rather than bitch & complain about the problems & how it allegedly makes all of us look bad in the eyes of ignorant people despite all of the positive things that our people have achieved. Individually or as a collective.

I assume you mean defense because that's who I am talking about.

One doesn't lie about one's age
one doesn't lie about why one wasn't at one's friend's funeral.
one finds a way to interject that you had a man stalking your friend with a gun who has a record of assaulting a police officer and domestic abuse(women aren't going to be happy about a guy attacking his wife)?

put me on there! I'll show her how to do it.

Ra,you hit on the head there. There is a country music star named Uncle Cracker and no Whites in the South are offended.

And you know this, how? So by your analogy, no Blacks were offended by the name NWA, right?

You know, with all the spotlight on Paula Deen and now this... it would be real nice if it gave PAUSE to anyone who likes to use racially derogatory words... regardless in what capacity.

An excerpt from today's trial of GZ's statement to police.

Another witness said he heard cries for help... I'm wondering if this correlates to the jury with Zimmerman's statement to police that night that 'he yelled for help'. (The Prosecution say it was Trayvon yelling.)

    More details from today's witness....

Ok I take it back this wasn't manslaughter this motherfucker murdered that kid. No fucking way does a 17 year old kid run away only to confront someone for a battle to the death. Dudes father is a judge and he had dreams of working in law enforcement he had definitely had the knowledge of what to say to make this sound like self defense. I hope the jury sees through his horseshit. Anyone who has wrestled or ever had a fight in their life knows its incredibly unlikely that someone 130lbs is going to knock someone over two hundred lbs down and have the strength to bash their head several times. And on top of that say some movie shit like "you're gonna die motherfucker"? Come the fuck on.

    TM:"you got a problem?"
    GZ: 'no'
    TM:"well you do now"

Wasn't this man JUST on the phone telling 911 he had a problem with Trayvon's behavior?

I would THINK that prior to any altercation, a fearless 250 pd Zimmerman with a gun on him would have replied pretty much as Jeantell said...
"(yeah), What are you doing here". I mean, he was the self-appointed Neighborhood Watch Captain after all. Just "no", huh? Sure you did, buddy.

It sounds way too movie like for my taste but people love to believe in the animalistic bm with super strength bs. I though dude was negligible before now it seems like straight up murder to me.

I'm still confused by the evidence.
It should be known that I refuse to watch the Zimmerman trial.

Even if Zimmerman sustained numerous injuries and Martin had scraped knuckles?
What part of Zimmerman followed him, unprovoked, with a gun do people not understand?
It's human nature to preserve your own life. He was being tracked by a gun wielding lunatic with a record of past offenses.
of course Martin fought for his life.

    Any normal human being would.

The defense in my opinion has no SYG case. I'm not a lawyer but its not insanely hard to comprehend that Zimmerman started it and then ended it when he was getting his ass kicked.

    What's the saying?

Don't start no trouble and there won't be no trouble.

...You see that and I see that.......but if our fellow forum members are watching and listening to all the same unfolding details in the trial proceedings, why are they arriving at such a different conclusions as independent observers......It is like, they want a conviction so bad, that they are refusing to focus and let it register in their minds on what has been presented to the jury so far.......It is like, they are so unprepared emotionally for a not guilty verdict that they are already assigning reasons for that possible out-come.......People relax !!....parachute some of your emotional luggage off this plane, realize that it might land at your destination.....Let the trial complete it self......

The most fundamental desire when innocently going about your business...is to be left the hell alone.
Can you not put yourself in that boy's shoes. If we can, (and can see that), why can't you?

A couple weeks before Feb 26th, a young black male was arrested for burglary in the neighborhood of Z...

A couple months before Feb 26th, a home invasion, where a mother and her son had to hide upstairs in a closet while burglars were downstairs stealing her TV and laptop had occured...in the neighborhood of Z.

The prospect of George Zimmerman profiling Martin because he was "black" is taking a bad beating today....he followed Martin because of the incidents listed above, and that's not an unrealistic argument to be made. In fact, it's probably more realistic than the former.
