One sentence stood out in the article: "Shaw’s goal is certainly admirable, but there are a few things working against him. First, you have a limited number of recruits who are capable of performing at a high level in both academics and football, and everybody wants those guys." That's the sad thing - brains and brawn often seem to be mutually exclusive. To me, there is nothing sexier and more admirable than an athlete that is talented in his/her sport AND excels in academics.
