I bet there are millions of racist teachers out there.... with easy access to the minds and outlooks of kids. And millions of really helpless and passive parents who can't imagine the effect that racist teachers can have on their kids. They just hand their kids over to the system without a thought.

This shit is so wrong on so many levels, just all kinds of wrong. I think people do some of his shit because they think, even if I get caught, whats the worst that could happen, go to jail for a bit. A former Simi Valley elementary school teacher has admitted to having a sexual relationship with a male student, authorities said.

Malia Brooks, who worked as a sixth-grade teacher at Garden Grove Elementary, pleaded guilty to three counts of lewd conduct on a child with sentencing enhancements for substantial sexual conduct-–an enhancement that speaks to the severity of the acts, prosecutors said.

The victim was under 14 years old, according to the initial charges filed against the teacher. There do not appear to be any other victims.

Brooks, 32, pleaded guilty as part of a deal with prosecutors, who dropped two of the charges against her. The judge indicated Brooks will likely be sentenced to six years in prison at her sentencing Aug. 23, said Ventura County Deputy District Atty. Erin Meister.

Brooks started at the school in 2004 and her employee evaluations were “exemplary,” said Cary Dritz, assistant superintendent at Simi Valley Unified School District.

She has a husband and two kids. Despite that, Brooks has been considered a flight risk and her bail was set at $2 million, prosecutors said.

Brooks' attorney, Ron Bamieh, told KTLA she suffers from a mental illness. He did not immediately return a Times request for comment Friday.

A parent notified the district of Brooks' alleged relationship with a student Feb. 21, Dritz said. The next day, the district alerted police, who investigated for four months, leading to Brooks’ arrest this week.

Brooks was put on paid leave during the investigation before resigning June 5.

The district informed parents of the investigation earlier this week.

“Many of the parents were in disbelief,” Dritz said. “Many were supportive of her but the majority were for the school as a whole.”

The district informed parents of Brooks’ arrest in a letter sent out Wednesday.

“We understand that these charges are a shock to anyone who might currently have or has had an association with Malia Brooks,” states the letter, signed by school Principal Mary E. Curtis. “I want every parent and student to know that we will do everything to continue to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for all students.”

You send your kids to school and don't know if the teacher fucking raping them.

 

Honestly, I was going to say fucking them but too many people have been getting their feelings hurt lately. I'll change it though. rape is the correct term.

Also I don't know what goes through someone's head to do this. It is even sadder for the kid. I hope the kid gets help but I know it won't help them.

 

I see it as if you understand it then you can change it. I sort of see it like Cenk. She may have been looking for love(attention) but in a wrong place. still wrong and she needs to still be placed in prison.

 

These teachers now a days are getting turned on by some unmoral stuff.

 

Tamstrong,there are not too many women like you and if so the vast majority of those teachers would get hard time. So many men in the law had those teacher fantasies especially if the teacher is good looking. I don't know why some women in their 30's who became teachers want to have sex with a young man who was her pupil? Could they had gone to the web and find a male who is 18 or older? There are 'cougar' websites nowadays. Anyway,the mothers of those boys had to clean up the mess of that older woman.

A teacher at Chicago Vocational Career Academy was ordered held on $150,000 bail after being charged with having sex with one of her students, prosecutors said.

Bridgette Miller, 39, got the 17-year-old boy's cell phone number from another student and the two began texting each other, prosecutors said.

They met for the first time on March 17 and had sex behind a Walgreen's near 87th and Cregier Avenue, prosecutors said. Then on March 22, the boy and the teacher had sex in the teacher's classroom, prosecutors said.

Police found text messages that mentioned sex between the two, prosecutors said.

Miller, of the 1100 block of North Hamlin Avenue, is charged with criminal sexual assault, prosecutors said.

According to the school's website, Miller is a medical technology teacher at the school, 2100 E. 87th St. The boy was in her class.

Chicago Public School officials said Miller resigned from the district on June 1. Officials were unable to provide any additional details.

 

If she was in her early 20's, it might be forgivable, as it has been argued here by QUITE A FEW that 17 is considered adult for a male when is comes to sex, but she was 39, so...she joins the rest of the ever increasing teachers who are getting arrested.

A former Montana high school teacher convicted of raping a 14-year-old female student who later committed suicide will face only 30 days of jail time.

Stacey Dean Rambold, 54, had at least three sexual encounters with student Cherice Morales in 2008. In 2010, the student committed suicide a few weeks before her 17th birthday, The Billings Gazette reported.

Yellowstone County Judge G. Todd Baugh sentenced Rambold to 15 years prison, with all but only 31 days suspended for sexual intercourse without consent. The judge then gave Rambold credit for one day served, bringing the offender's total jail time to just 30 days.

Auliea Hanlon, mother to the victim, testified that her daughter's relationship with Rambold was a large factor in the teen's suicide. As the sentence was delivered, Hanlon began to scream "You people suck!" before leaving the courtroom.

The judge said victim Morales was "as much in control of the situation" as Rambold, according to Time.com.

Although Rambold was ordered to complete a sex-offender treatment program to have charges dismissed in 2008 after pleading guilty to rape, he was terminated from the program for missing meetings. Judge Baugh said the ex-teacher's termination from the program did not warrant a lengthy imprisonment.

Judge Baugh also said victim Morales was "older than her chronological age."

The same year Rambold was hired as a business teacher for Senior High School in 2004, principal Scott Anderson met with Rambold to discuss allegations that he touched a girl's thigh and waist. A court affidavit said Anderson told Rambold to "keep his hands off all students" and that anything further would result in a formal investigation, KTVQ reported.

Rambold will have to register as a sex offender.

 

Wow just wow. You gotta wonder if someone was paid off.

This story doesn't add up. How can his sentence be described as "sexual intercourse without consent" and the judge say that the victim was as much in control of the situation as the teacher?


There has to be more to this story then is being reported, or this is the worst trial judge ever.
