I don't pay much attention to surveys and self help books that proclaim to know the one right answer for the way one should live their life or should act; half of the time they are indeed slanted and besides, what makes the author of those books and surveys/studies the expert anyway? I think the most important thing when it comes to age and life in general is to do the things you enjoy and live your life without regrets. Cherish those people and things that make you happy and remember one thing; you are only as young as you feel. P.S. There's nothing wrong w/ letting mom fix you a meal every once in a while, Stizz
Hey Stiz, I wasn't trying to imply that my take on the list is correct. I'm sure we can each show proof of why even the items I allowed on my list are total bunk. And I agree with you. This sounds like some teenaged girl imagining what it would be like to date George Clooney and then saying guys aren't mature because they're not on some Hugh Hefner mack ish.
I think it is better for women to date older guys (depending on the situation). men that are older....35+ or 40+ are usually more settled . you really will need to define what is a man and what is expected of him to properly say he is mature
A person's life begins at birth. The first breath drawn. The first look at your mom and dad. The first time seeing the world through the window of the family car. The first time you see birds, squirrels, insects and other living things. As we reach prepubescence, we begin another journey, we ask questions about the world around us. We ask about ourselves. I used to read caution labels of every chemical around our house(when I learned how to read). At puberty, we ask about the association between the heart, the mind and the flesh. At some time, during our lives we have to be adults. It can start as early as 18, or later. As always, it is up to the individual.
I hate everything about this study. Lets see the reception to the "Oh, stop bitching" study... where men list ways that women constantly bitch and nag. No, I'm not saying that women do.... just saying it's the equivalent of this study.
thats right!!!! teach my daughter Bball when she as 5. taught her on how to take a charge. dont move girl dont move!!!!!!!! take one for the team !!!!!!!!
Ditto! I hit 5 of those marks (turned 32 last month), but to me it's just about being able to remain light hearted and have fun when appropriate. There's a time and place for professionalism and adult behavior/conversation, but there's also a time and a place for some good ol fashioned fun!
